« Beautiful setting with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces. The house is charming, renovated, updated, clean, and comfortable. Great location for a family gathering to bike, visit the battlefield or visit Shepherdstown. Hosts went above and beyond to be sure we had all we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area. »

« Everything was great. We loved the flowers. I was checking out all the pictures and quilts. It stayed quiet, no traffic or fire calls. It was neat for sure. »

« We had a great stay at the Spy House for our family reunion in Harper’s Ferry. The location was perfect and the house was exactly as advertised. The owner was communicative and accommodating. We will hopefully return soon! »

« Great location, fantastic activities - fishing, tubing on the river, hiking & family dinners. Grandkids had an excellent time. Mike is an awesome host. Our third stay at this house, says it all! »

« Great home and location. Back deck could use a few more umbrellas. During our stay an additional umbrella was requested and brought over very quickly. Great service. On our last day (Tuesday), there was a lot of construction noise coming from the brewery. Not sure what was going on, but it eventually stopped. Would definitely come back again. My parents loved their 60 th Anniversary celebration. »

« This property exceeded our expectations. This was a perfect summer cabin, absolutely fabulous decor throughout, so many cozy hangout spaces for our group of 8. We never felt crowded, and especially enjoyed the game area and enclosed porch. We brought kayaks and tubes for the river, and did the Paw Paw Tunnel Trail (highly recommend!). We did have one issue with the property but our host was quick to resolve. Definitely would recommend. »

« Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and...

« Ethan and his wife are awesome host! Asked for early check in of 1pm and they allowed it no issues, or extra fees. Quiet and secluded which is exactly what I was looking for. »

« We had such an amazing time! Great location close to many amenities. We loved the owners recommendations for food and fun things to do. We loved hiking the Maryland heights trail and exploring Harper’s ferry. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and we love the outdoors and history. We can’t wait to come back! »

« Comfortable and right at the C&O trail, so easy to take lovely walks. The house is clean, the kitchen and dining spaces more than adequate, multiple common areas are nice, as are bedrooms. Minor issue in that it seems the visitors before us made the remote for the downstairs tv disappear. Connection via phone, text etc can be spotty unless you're on the houses wifi, which worked well. »

« We loved our stay at this beautiful Log Chalet/Cabin! Highly recommended place for a group of friends like ours. We enjoyed biking, hiking and restaurants in Berkeley Springs and Hancock. Much more to explore and enjoy! We plan to be back next June. »
