We received no phone call, email, or any form of communication beforehand. When we spoke to the hotel staff, they repeatedly blamed the third-party booking platform, saying that was the reason for the cancellation. This made no sense, as I have used this same platform for years to book holidays both overseas and throughout Australia without ever experiencing...

'I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside I was a little worried what I got myself into :). But level 1 I panicked when it smelt like smoke but once you are up on level 2 in the room area it was fresh, clean and inviting. Bathrooms need a little maintenance but overall the place was clean and the amenities where sufficient. There is soup, shampoo, clean towels and a comfy bed. The patrons down stairs can get rowdy on a footy night but we slept well.'

'The property appeared to be new or recently renovated, and overall, the room was spacious, clean, and located in a quiet neighbourhood. I stayed for one night while attending a wedding reception nearby. The accommodation itself is quite basic. However, I was disappointed that some common amenities were missing, such as a mirror inside the room for guests to get dressed, a bedside alarm clock, and an intercom or phone to contact reception. 'The accommodation was within walking distance of all we wanted to see & go to. It was the middle of winter, yet in our room, we were very comfortable & warm. We didn’t feel the cold whatsoever. Very clean & had all we needed for our two-day stay in Kiama.'

'Reception not 24 hours but there are after hours key pick up and drop off. Parking was not a problem and after hours key pick was smooth. All appliances works except one hot tap in the bathroom was extremely loud when turning on. Upstairs is also steps only with no lift, have to be careful if there are issues with stairs when booking.'

'The boat harbour view was pleasant from our room. The extra bed in the room should have been a King single,our son’s feet were hanging off the end. The basin in the bathroom was very very low. The shower needed a good scrub. Better quality toilet paper,so thin.'

'This is one of.the cleanest places we have stayed. Beautiful husband and wife run hotel. They couldn't do enough for us. They had thought of everything to put in the room. Seriously it was that clean you could eat off the floor. I ordered myself one of the lights with charger for my own home aswell. we will stay there everytime we travel that way. Thankyou.'
