Front door safety latch broken. Light switch by sink had a short—had to try it several times until it sparked. Safe had been pulled out of wall—screws exposed. Mildew on ceiling in bathroom. Tile paint coming off. Grab bar by tub was missing. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

The first room they put us in did not have a working a/c or phone and the toilet ran continuously. They were very kind to us and switched us to a different room but said that the a/c was questionable in several rooms this time of year. It was almost 90 degrees so this is a problem. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable and not clean.

Horrible exerience at quality inn shawnee, OK
My husband and I stayed at the Quality Inn in Shawnee, OK on 2/24/22. It was the worst experience i uave ever had at a hotel. This was the 3rd time we have reserved a room off of hotels.com this week and trusted that we would be in a decemt hotel. Our room would not get warm enough and we were still wearing our hats and sweaters after a couple hours of being in the room. We were able to switch rooms, but the heating wasnt much better. We had to sleep with an extra blanket and our thermals on. It was supposed to have a full breakfast, but when we went downstairs, we onlu got to go bags. The lady at the front desk was not professional or helpful She stayed behind the wall talkimg to us and was rude. We also had a what we thought customer come out of a room by our vehicle that kept asking for a ride but i think he was homeless because he talked about sleeping in a tent last night.

Nice place to stay for the price
The desk was very helpful on where to go eat for a good price. The toilet paper was single ply and not soft. No tissues in room. Chair at desk, handles were a mess. All torn up. Room seemed clean and easy access for parking at door. Breakfast was a bag of items. For the price I was pleased.

It’s convenient to the highway but the property in general seems fairly neglected. The television in our room didn’t work and there was a lot of unrepaired damage and wear (holes in bathroom door, rust on vents, lampshade falling apart) and something sticky all over the front of the nightstand.

For the money, this was a great place to stay. It’s an older hotel right on the interstate, but it was clean, the WiFi was great, and the AC worked (after the front desk person helped unfreeze the unit). Great value!

Property is easy to access and the front desk staff was nice and helpful. Our room was good, furniture looked newer and the bed was clean and very comfortable. Bathroom was clean and the coffee pot in the room made decent coffee as well. Its not a super updated, new place - its showing it's age a bit in the carpets, drapes, etc. But all the things that really mattered worked and were clean and the grounds are nice and well kept overall. Felt safe and there is a convenience store very close and a Denny's across the street. Freeway access is close and the next exit up has everything you could want for shopping and dining, etc. Pool was closed, but there is a covered area with toys, benches and chairs for you to take the kids to play for a bit which is way more than the hotel next door had available. Lobby was updated and clean as well. For the price, it was well worth the stay. We were visiting family so truly only need a clean place to sleep and it was an excellent choice for that. If your a light sleeper, ask for a room away from the pool side - freeway traffic can be heard in your room on the pool side. Views better on the pool side, but you can hear the freeway a bit a night on that side of the hotel. Overall great stay and good value for the money. Highly recommend.

I-40 thru Oklahoma
This Quality Inn was right off of I-40 exit 186, easy to find. The property was clean and well maintained. The employees were friendly and helpful.

I thought it was a great place for the value. The staff was friendly and the room's really clean and comfortable. Walking to the area's biggest mall and restaurants. The pool is not open due to Covid as of 6/2021.
