'We spent the days exploring the area (hikes, horseback riding, seeing lighthouses, exploring Portland etc.) and it was a nice place to come "home" to for my family (6 of us). We cooked a lot and the kitchen had everything we needed! It was a bit hotter while we were there (unseasonably I believe) and so we definitely used the window air conditioners. Overall the house was very comfortable for us, was clean and provided everything we needed! '

'My brother and I with his son stayed here while visiting family nearby. The house was clean and comfortable. When we arrived the lower level sliding glass door was open and I could not figure out how to lock it. Other than that I have no complaints. 'The only big issue was that the VRBO listing gave us the wrong address. It sent us to Scarborough instead of Saco. Luckily we were familiar with the area and I knew that Saco was close to Old Orchard Beach, which was mentioned in the listing, so I did a google map search of the same address in Saco and it looked like the pictures. 'I chose this property because I wished to kayak nearby and needed a place to store my kayak overnight safely. This place was perfect. There was a (unofficial) loop trail out back through the woods that allowed me some nature study while getting a bit of exercise. The Dan Hole River runs right by the property and was a very nice spot to put my feet in the water on a hot day or just listen to the water. The indoors was clean and had all the comforts of home. 'Our group of 6 adults and 1 dog had a fabulous time at Chris's house. We used the firepit and the hot tub, enjoyed eating and grilling outside, played yard games, and appreciated the beach chairs provided. Plenty of kitchen gadgets for cooking our meals as well as extra spices that we hadn't thought to bring. The location was great for us to ride bikes to Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, and several beaches.
