'Loved our stay at Casa Dona Edite. The rooms were very clean and modern. The owners Antonio and Cristina were the most amazing hosts. The dinner option they offer is a must. The homemade food they prepared was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for the great advice on what to do and see in the Douro Valley it was much appreciated. We highly recommend this guesthouse if you stay in the Douro.'

'Não tenho nada a apontar, é difícil descrever a paz, tranquilidade, e bem estar que se sente nestas casas, toda a envolvência magica. O cuidado e pormenores da decoração… O pequeno almoço ótimo, a disponibilidade dos funcionários irrepreensível, é para voltar… Adoramos, foi em aniversário de casamento, e foi perfeito! '

'We had the exclusief appartement, that was to the back, and that was really nice and silent. The complex is a bit more up the mountain and not that "next" to the water/center what was perfect for us! (more silence).
And even then everything in near you, supermarket at walking distance, or just a 5-10 min drive to the river.
Plenty of restaurants, hikes, activities to do.
Rooms where nice and spacious, kitchen was equipped with all you needed. And it was clean.
There is a parking garage below...

'Eine sehr besondere Unterkunft in liebevoller Hand. Ich habe mich direkt willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Hausherrin ist sehr nett und für Alles ansprechbar. Sie gibt Tipps, hilft bei der Tagesplanung. Die Verständigung klappt auf Englisch.
Der Blick aus meinem Zimmer (2. OG) und von der Frühstücks-Terrasse ging bis auf die Nossa Senhora dos Remédios/über den Ort.
Zentrumsnah, kostenloses Parken nach 19: 00 h und auf großem Parplatz in der Nähe.
Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar.'

'Veldig koselig leilighet i en pittoresk fjellandsby i Duoro-regionen. Veldig gjestfritt nabolag! Butikk og snack-bar i umiddelbar nærhet, men langt til nærmeste restaurant. '

A habitação possui decoração impecável, estrutura planejada nos mínimos detalhes para uma experiência singular e bem aconchegante (lareira, jogos, TV, camas confortáveis, churrasqueira, piscina). O espaço à volta é de uma calmaria extremamente relaxante, muito verde, riacho, flores e campos, além de uma piscina fantástica.
