'Very nice place and a hostess who's about as helpful and nice as they come. We stayed for 2 weeks. Found it a bit cramped for 2 adults and 2 cocker spaniels for that extended period. We knew it was small to beigin with so that's our fault. It would've been fine for shorter periods. Cabin and grounds were immaculate. We could've eaten off the floor. Great boat docking space. Yard is large so if you have a dog you can take them out to play. Cabin and host easily deserve 5 star rating. We'd stay...

'My 3 adult children and I booked the cabin for my husband's 70th birthday. We went fishing in four different locations. No one caught anything. My husband said that was not important.....the important thing was that we were together and had created a special memory. We enjoyed each other's company as well as the cabin. 'Would consider staying there again, but would first consider other alternatives. Pros - lots of room, 3 bedrooms, nice back porch, nice kitchen. Cons - showers bad, no pressure, hot water barely warm, towels well used, living room large, but only 2 chairs, no couch for family viewing of tv, little amenities like facial tissues would have been nice. Also on a noisy street at night, and a long walk > 1 mile to town square, which is center of the town. That last sentence summed up the biggest...

'The space was cheerful, clean and comfortable. The unit has such character and a unique design. The bathroom is a little small but is a great use of space. Due to the historic qualities of the house the ceilings are low for tall folks over about 6'2". The host was also just as cheerful and charming!'

'We love this house - it would be perfect to retire in. It was very clean and the location was close to everything! We loved being able to park our boat in the dock in the backyard.
