Cottages in Schroeder

'This was our first stay here and it was very good! The breakfast was decent and well maintained. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. I'm still a bit shocked by the price of rooms per night and add on fees, but I realize this seems to be normal now up and down the North Shore. But it's apparent this property is trying to draw in more kids and families here offering family fun things to do and that is appreciated. We stayed here because it was close to our hiking plans. We would...

'We enjoyed a six-night stay in June at Halsnoy Haven. It has beautiful views of the lake and shoreline. Extensive and well maintained grounds. Privacy. Location is perfect for activities and attractions up and down the shore from the property - hiking trails and streams, restaurants, parks, many waterfalls, light house, shops. The bike and walking trail is righ at the driveway entrance to the property. The home is impeccable. Well appointed. Clean. Spacious. First class. Deck,...

'The property, the home and the host were wonderful. The house was just beautiful and had great lake views from the back windows. the lake was just a short walk out the back door. We were a family of 5 and dogs staying and everything was stocked in the kitchen so we could eat our meals there instead of restaurants. The walking paths nearby were great. Checkin and checkout were easy. Love this place!'

'Everything was perfect and clean'

'Beautiful room and scenery. Host are very nice and reachable. Check in process is smooth and easy.'

'We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home on the North Shore! The house was spacious and had plenty of bedrooms, so our entire group was comfortable with room to spread out.One of the best parts was being right on Lake Superior. We spent hours exploring the rocky shoreline, climbing to get close to the water, and taking in the incredible views. In the evenings, we gathered around the campfire to make s'mores, which quickly became one of our favorite memories from the trip. The location was...

'Family winter getaway. Spectacular views and great location on the upper part of the north shore. Loft is really great with bunk beds having limited room and access to the top bunk. Was a tight fit for our teenagers. Be prepared for morning sun in addition to moonlight. Special place in a special location.'

'It is a beautiful place. The views are spectacular. There were some minor issues that were addressed by the owner. It also was quiet.'

'Very responsive to questions. Place very clean, warm, and comfortable. Loved the 4 queen beds and 1 king bed. Spacious kitchen table, living area a foyer to handle the activities of our group of 6 adults up for a ski weekend. Loved the sauna and two bathrooms!'

'Place was very comfortable and close to everything we wanted to do. Can’t wait to check it out in the fall or summer.'
