'Excellent place.'

'We felt like we were alone in the jungle, full kitchen very nice bathroom separated from the bedroom. The bedroom does not have glass windows one night was a little bit warm, so please take that into consideration but overall we loved the concept. Keep in mind there's also a huge construction boom in Costa Rica so there is some street noise, can't see it, but sometimes you can hear it'

'Our stay at Vista Paraiso Lodge for New Year's was amazing. The view is super fantastic especially the sunet and the whole place is beautiful since sunrise, many birds singing. My two dogs loved the whole place and William and his wife are very nice and very helpful. Thank you so much, see you soon. Pura Vida!!'

'Overall excellent. Only (minor) problem was that the first night was pretty cold, and there was no heat in the room. The second night the host provided a ceramic electric heater and that made the cabin very cosy.'

'This beautiful log cabin is perched in the hills where the deck catches the mountain breezes. Bring binoculars for birdwatching! We lived on that deck! The air conditioning is once for sleeping, and the kitchen is small but functional. The drive up to the cabin from the main house is very steep, but we made it up without 4 wheel drive since I am used to driving up hills in snow and ice! If you are not, rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle. 'Al contanctar al anfitrión para pedirle la dirección y demás indicaciones para el uso de la cabaña, él no tenía ni idea de que habíamos reservado, cuando ya hasta se me había generado el cargo a la tarjeta de crédito!!! 'Claire and Bud (the owners) couldnt have done more for us. They were staying further up the road and I was able to use their pool which was a treat. The cabin has everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and although it was rainy season it was still wonderful - we could sit on the decking and watch the forest / sea and listen to the rain. The sea view is amazing and we saw some monkeys and other wildlife in the trees around us. Just one thing to consider, if you are coming in rainy...

'At first the initial drive seemed very long, it is like 8 miles total, approx, but after driving it 12 times it got better/easier. And being so remote there are mucho other homes up there. Beautiful views to the oceanon the south, to the north, waterfalls and mountains.'

"Ik vond de prijs-kwaliteit eerlijk gezegd een beetje tegenvallen. Ik had gedacht dat het hotel in een rustige omgeving zou liggen, maar onze kamer lag vlak naast de weg , waar ook een restaurant zat met hele dag muziek tot 21:00 uur. Kamer had verder een slechtsluitende deur, geen stopcontacten naast het bed en de stopcontact van koffemachine deed het niet. Er waren verder ook veel positieve dingen hoor, zoals een fijne warme douche, gratis kluisje, koelkast en een mooi zwembad. Ook het eten bij het restaurant van het hotel (50 m verder) was top. "
