Experience Savannah like a local in this charming one-bedroom cottage on Park Ave. You’ll be only steps away from the South end of Forsyth Park and several local hangouts, including a coffee shop and natural foods market.

Tucked behind a charming Victorian, you’ll enter through the iron gate on Park Avenue and let the paved path lead you to the cottage. Parkside Cottage offers the convenience of downtown, but with the silence of a residential neighborhood. The living room features a sofa and additional seating, while the breakfast nook rests just below the kitchen. The full kitchen packs in all the essentials in a compact space. A full bath with tub/shower combo and wide, single vanity is found just off the kitchen.
The other side of the cottage hosts the bedroom with Queen size bed and ample closet space. Guests will absolutely enjoy this quiet retreat after a long day of sightseeing.

This unit has free, on-street parking right outside the front door. Availability will depend on time of day and season. Our guests have not reported trouble parking near the home, even on the busiest of weekends.

We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $250 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information.

Cottage was ok. It was clean. Could have used more than One wash and one kitchen towel for 8 days Running the gauntlet of sprinklers 3 time a day and getting soaked wasn’t much fun. And yes, I contacted the host who told me there was nothing they could do about it

Air conditioner not work

Door have no number or letter "C". On the rain looking to find the unit was terrible. We stay about 24h on 50F, need to call to fix heater the day after, old molded food was in refrigerator, terrible smell. Blind on the windows are loose and don't close, door have a glass, and gap on it. No privacy.

I did not choose this location but due to a maintenance issue at the property I did choose left me here -- and I was delighted. This property was perfect -- off street parking, clean well maintained and a great location. The coffee shop around the corner was a delight, and all went well. thank you. Bob

Savannah guest house

We enjoyed our stay in the guest house. Great location close to Forsyth Park and within walking distance to many sights. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with supplies for us to cook our breakfasts. Grocery store is very close. Just make sure to bring your hangers for clothes and salt and pepper for seasoning. These were missing in this Vrbo.

Perfect spot in Savannah

Amazing little house in Savannah, walking distance to everything. Private courtyard where we could enjoy the beautiful weather, quiet location despite being close to Forsyth Park and everything in the historic district. Hope to stay there again.

Quaint cottage tucked away in a prime location in Savannah. Close walk to Forsyth Park and many local options for coffee shops, groceries and restaurants. The cottage itself is spacious and well decorated. Very enjoyable place.

Savanna visit

The house was clean and comfortable. It was an updated small apartment in the back of a large 3 story house. The garden area was very nice and green with decorative lights. I enjoyed sitting out there both day time and night time. We initially had difficulty getting in with the code. The owners responded immediately and sent someone out to open the door for us. The code we had was not updated via directions we had. We were given a new code which worked well the whole time we were there. We were able to find parking close to the house. The location was good. Not too far from the river, shops and resturaunts. I would recommend it.

No parking on street due to parade prep and was not told, this was have been more terrible if I had my mom with us as we need the car at all times. We got a total of 4 face cloths to use for 3 people for 4 nights and I did request more which is why we had a total of 4…that’s all we got. I purchased some at Target. Lots of pillows to choose from…may be great to use on the terrible couch and sleeper sofa there. Bed was eh, slept in better and worse. Cottage cute and free standing so no dogs or steps heard above. Just quiet for the most part. Company answered emails quickly. Pretty long walk to the riverfront and buses don’t run on weekends so that meant car usage except we had to park several blocks away due to parade prep.

The condo was about what we expected, nothing special but kind of cute and adequate for two. The kitchen and bathroom were small but adequate, the bed was comfortable, the living area is cute but the furniture is minimal and uncomfortable and the whole place was kind of dark without much natural light coming in. But we didn't come to Savannah sit inside so it didn't matter much. The code on our entry door did not work when we arrived so we had to call and get another one which was a bit annoying. And there was a dog nearby that barked his head off at times which was very annoying. The little patio and courtyard outside our room was probably nice at one time but is now pretty rundown. If you're planning to prepare any of you own meals in this place, beware that the cookware is minimal and what there is pretty bad. It would have also been nice to at least have a one roll of paper towels provided.

I absolutely love the pale blue ceiling with the crystal chandelier in the living room. The bed was super comfy, everything was clean. The cottage was quiet and close to all kinds of dinning. My only complaint is the poor lighting in the bathroom, but not a deal breaker.

My boyfriend and Is stay (seth & Z)

We liked the property location and decals as it was only 20-30 min walk to downtown and 8 min walk to the grocery store. Was safe, next to a park, and had free parking. The little house looks like the pictures and cuter in person with plenty outdoor space! Our complaints were: there was 5 mosquitos & a palmetto bug inside the house, the gate to get to the trash can in the alley way was finicky and hard to open, the light to the ceiling fan was broken, we found dried up food crust on the counter (uncleaned), and there was used toilet paper that was just sitting on top of the clean roll which was disturbing. My boyfriend seth also complained about the communication with the host was poor and felt they didn’t care about our questions and concerns so they took a while to reply to us via email. We asked if we could check in early and they didn’t get back to us until last moment and they said we had to pay an unexpected large fee to check in early as we were out of town‘ers visiting 8 hours away on a road trip. Given are specific situation we just wanted a easier time checking in and not have it be so difficult along with the uncommunicative & accommodating host. We’ve had no issues with that anywhere else we traveled but here. In contrast Savannah, Georgia has a very nice and hospitable people running small businesses, everyone is kind, social, and helpful.

Over priced and Under delivered

Small, musty and poorly furnished. No laundry despite specifying laundry detergent is included (really!?!). Furniture is VERY low, kitchen and bath are tiny and no storage space. No actual dining space...just a pull up shel that is not level and things slide off. Musty smell is very strong. Would not recommend.

Charming cottage with wonderful location

Loved everything about this rental ( except the fees, be careful). Great location for walking to coffee shop. Kroger near by. Seamless rental and entry. Yes that courtyard is great, most comfortable bed and quality linens. We did not cook , but kitchen looked well stocked. Parking was a dream, right in front of house. We love walking and walked to river from here.
