Une vue spectaculaire de 50 milles sur la vallée de l'Hudson

Nous sommes perchés sur une falaise au dessus d'une magnifique cascade. Vous pouvez voir à 80 km de chaque piÚce. Regardez les saisons changer et prenez vos repas dans une belle véranda au calme. L'appartement est trÚs privé avec sa propre entrée de parking et son porche. Cuisinez dans la cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec vue sur la vue. Prenez un verre et regardez le coucher du soleil, écoutez la cascade, regardez la télévision par cùble, lisez un livre ou restez en contact avec notre accÚs Internet sans fil.

Conduisez dans une seule direction pendant 7 minutes jusqu'à Woodstock N. Y. et mangez dans nos restaurants classés Zagat, écoutez de la musique, assistez à des spectacles ou visitez les célÚbres galeries d'art. Conduisez dans l'autre sens vers Saugerties, le site du deuxiÚme festival de Woodstock et visitez les charmantes boutiques d'antiquités ou admirez simplement le paysage.

Si le sport vous plait, partez en randonnĂ©e dans les Catskills juste devant notre porte, balade Ă  vĂ©lo, jogging, kayak sur les calanques ou la riviĂšre Hudson. Skiez aux montagnes Hunter, Windham ou Belleayre. Ou peut-ĂȘtre vous voulez simplement vous promener sur nos belles routes de campagne.

Clean and perfect for a couple. Well maintained and provisioned. Yard/view is overgrown and view is obscured mostly by trees since the dwelling is ground level. But overall a pleasant stay in a quiet treed area. Would do again

Lovely place

My husband and I stayed at Big Sky in May 2025. It is a nice little apartment with a great view from the screened porch. So close to the town of Woodstock and other attractions in the area. Very quiet and peaceful. We plan on returning in the fall!

Great Getaway

A beautiful and comfortable spot!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this private and cozy apartment! It was well-appointed with everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened-in porch and made good use of the fully equipped kitchen. The bed was super comfortable, with plenty of blankets and pillows. We loved the location, too! We were close to the town-centers of Woodstock and Saugerties, each with a great variety of restaurants and shops. We were also close to some gorgeous hiking trails. Myra and Jerry were lovely and checking in and out was a breeze! We highly recommend this apartment to couples looking for a serene get-away in the Catskill Mountains.

Beautiful apartment for a relaxing weekend

Perfect Weekend Getaway

I rented Big Sky for the weekend to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. This place was everything I could have asked for and more. Myra and Jerry were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The place itself was very charming and the views were as incredible as they described. It was an overall awesome experience, and I’m very thankful we rented Big Sky!

Big Sky

We decided to do a golf outing for 2 days and stayed in the area at Big Sky. We frequented the Palenville area. We ate at Griffin House. Highly recommend. Also, Log Cabin Cafe in Purling for breakfast was great. We visited Main Street area of Saugerties the last night. Wished we investigated it more. A very nice stay.

Great spot for a get-away

My family of 4 stayed here in August of 2023. It was a pleasant stay, and the furnishings were perfect for my small family. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival, the screen porch was nice to unwind on after a long day of sightseeing, and the views are breathtaking. Highly recommended, we'll be back!

We were in the area for an art show and wanted to stay near Woodstock. This place was a peaceful spot in a great location for us. Enjoyed morning coffee in the screened in porch listening to the birds. Everything was clean and well kept.

Very nice accommodation; just as described. Quiet, secluded, private, lots of room and great views. We had everything we needed. Our hosts, Myra and Jerry, greeted us upon our arrival, and they provided lots of information about the area. We went to the laundromat in Woodstock. It was a nice, clean facility with rapid-speed machines.

Perfect spot for serenity and nature!

Myra and Jerry were excellent hosts. Supportive, but also gave us all the privacy we were hoping for. Their home and Saugerties/the general area is perfect for slowing down, getting some fresh air and taking in the beauty of Mother Nature. We highly recommend checking out Kaaterskill Falls and Selena’s Diner! And we hope to be back for the views again someday :)

Beautiful view!

We came to the Catskills for a family reunion and needed a place to stay. Myra‘s place was so much better than a hotel. It was clean, comfortable and had a great kitchen. The bonus was the screened in porch and the view, of course. Our favorite part was morning coffee on the porch. Myra and Jerry were a great hosts and provided us all the information we needed. The place is close to hiking in Woodstock and Kingston. We visited both towns and enjoyed them. Myra even took the time to mail my computer to me which I accidentally left behind! Nothing better than good people and a comfortable space to rest your head.

Silent meditation retreat

The energy of the property is amazing. The view from the back yard is beautiful and I could hear running water down in the ravine that I couldn’t see ( due to all the vegetation). Myra and Gerry were kind and responsive hosts. The unit is a walk out basement underneath a large deck so it is very dark inside (a deck also extends over the screened in porch). I ate in the whole week I stayed so I missed having a lid for the one large pot ( I used the large frying pan as a lid to help get water to boil for pasta) and the right rear burner doesn’t work but that did not inconvenience me.. they had to have emergency work done on there deck during two of the days I was there..!The property is only a 10-15!minute drive to Pratt nature reserve, so is some nice walking there but otherwise have to walk along the road which is not that busy but still cats are driving fast

The apartment was comfortable and complete. Wonderful screened in porch allowed us to relax in the woods to the sounds of a nearby waterfall without bugs! Friendly hosts, good communication.
