Tourism there is pretty new, they expect you to spend more money every day, and you can see that not doing so is a problem. Taxis are horible on this island hasseling, pushing and expenssive (150$), and they are getting angry pretty fast, better plan ahead and rent a car or pay directly the hotel, ...

Tim & Maria were the most welcoming hosts - they went above & beyond to make our stay comfortable & relaxing. They gave us so much tourist advice which helped us around both Upolu & Savaii. Would highly recommend Samoan Highland Hideaway.
