'I liked the kind people, the breakfast, the location. The restaurants in the surrounding were a little bit less attractive. The people of the cafetaria at the supermarket were friendly and helped us in English, but the food choice could be better in the village. Especially English speaking help'

'Iván, el dueño, no puede ser más profesional y cercano. Nos ayudó en todo, nos dio todas las indicaciones del mindo e hizo de nuestra estancia un plus!! El sitio es precioso y está cerca de "todo" para una primera toma de contacto con Cantabria, que era nuestro caso. Nuestra habitación tenía una cocinita bien equipada con todo ( cafetera, tostadora..) y era bastante amplia para dos adultos y dos niños. Un sitio muy limpio y agradable. Se la recomendaría a cualquiera que me preguntase y...

'The hotel was amazing. Very nice and welcoming reception. Loved the old building (30 years). Perfect having a restaurant/bar just across the way. Delicious food and the chef was very nice and he came out to check if we wanted everything we ordered, as he was concerned we might have ordered too much Breakfast at the hotel was plentiful and good. 'Op onze rondreis door Noord-Spanje een volle week blijven hangen in dit aangename Hotel. Met zeer smakelijk met oog voor detail ingericht. Kamers waren ruim en kwalitatief goed, ligging van het hotel mooi en ontbijtbuffet rijkelijk en prima verzorgd. Zo nog beter de ontvangst en vriendelijkheid/hulpvaardigheid van het personeel. Absolute aanrader!'

'What a lovely, unexpected surprise the Rio Ason was. First and foremost, the staff are amazing. From arrival Anna and rest of the team were so helpful, and genuinely friendly and happy to chat. The hotel itself is great - clean, quiet and modern, good sized room, secure off street parking, and a fantastic breakfast buffet. Ramales itself is a great little local town too, lots of lovely walks in the surrounding hills (and caves!), and a huge selection of local bars for refreshment...

'Hotel net buiten het oude centrum op prima loopafstand. Parkeren is lastig met maar 2 plekken voor het hele hotel en wij hebben dan ook op het grote parkeerterrein tegenover het museum geparkeerd. Er is geen receptie maar er werd snel gereageerd toen we belden. Moderne kamer, helaas geen koelkastje op de kamer en het is vrij gehorig. '
