RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck, so guests can read email, surf the Internet and soak up the Florida sun all at the same time!



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands #232 will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Always enjoy staying at Silver Sands. Quaint and clean. Staff is helpful and attentive. The pool is great. The complex sits right on the beach. The beach is great and never overcrowded. Location is very close to several great restaurants and St. Armand Circle which is great for shopping and dining.

This condo is everything it was represented to be. Beautiful beach. Pool is very clean, warm and inviting. Condo is clean. It is an older unit, not a super luxurious feel, but very accommodating and comfortable. Location is great for walking, beachcombing, convenient to dining. Bed is very comfortable. Would stay here again.

Furthest unit from pool & beach BUT we loved it.

Older small unit without a lot of niceties. Pretty bare bones. We were given half of a sponge in the kitchen and a teeny tiny Palmolive. 2 bathroom wash clothes. The beach is so private and beautiful. The pool is kept in perfect condition and is a nice temperature. We had a nice stay. Margaret in the office was incredible.

A Nice Little Place

The property is accurately described, nice front room with kitchenette. The bedroom is fine and the bathroom too. Folks at the office are very nice and helpful. We liked the access to Cedars tennis, a very nice feature. We enjoyed using the pool and grill cooking and the beach is nice too. We will go back.

The unit was just as described. We enjoyed a quiet 4 day stay. We really enjoyed the use of the bikes. The beach was not crowded. The ice maker did not work well. We turned it on Thurs morning and by Saturday morning we had about 15-20 ice cubes. There was an ice cube tray to use.

Quick weekend trip for my husbands birthday. We wanted to enjoy the beach since the hurricane did much damage by our home in Fort Myers. This was the perfect spot. Great location. Reasonably priced. Plenty of beach and pool equipment to use. Nice restaurants in the area as well.

Location, Location, Location !!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean and comfortable. The ability to walk steps to the beach, then pool, etc. was ideal for a week of relaxation. Margaret was incredibly helpful and does an amazing job in the manager's office. Note the road is very close and you will hear cars through the night. This was not a problem for us but might bother others.

Old school Longboat Key Resort

Very quiet and beautiful resort, love the screened in porches and full kitchens! Pool was very clean, as was the rest of the property. Nothing fancy, but I personally like that, and the short stroll to the beach is absolutely beautiful! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful,also.
