Amazing view. Spacious pad. Unscrupulous owner.

My room was spacious with a beautiful view of the city. Unfortunately, the owner spoke very little English, leading to many misunderstandings. The worst part which led to a bad feeling: I asked him if he could arrange a cab to pick me up on the day of my departure.(Mind you, I was using Google Translate) He said it would be 15 Euros for the whole trip. After cab brought me to airport, I realized this was a lie. This was NOT a communication error. Owner scammed me out of 15 Euros

Fin til prisen - tæt på byen

Værten var klar til at tage imod os og hjælpe med parkering. Derefter så vi ham ikke mere, hvilket var lidt problematisk da vi ikke kunne komme i kontakt med ham i forhold til udtjekning, og hvad vi skulle gøre af nøglen da vi forlod lejligheden. Der var en smule beskidt, men alt ialt ganske udmærket.

Family of five can recommend to others

Very close to the city center, walking distance. The view from the balcony is magnificent. The apartment was generally in very good condition. Friendly and flexible reception by the host. Adding a few pots and pans in the kitchen - and the apartment is perfect!

Fabulous hidden gem!

Don't be put off by the backstreet facade. I've you enter the apartment you'll find a lovely, spacious, light and airy accommodation with panoramic views of the city. 5 minute walk into the centre of Sarajevo. Well worth a visit. Would highly recommend this apartment. Great for families, groups of travellers or just a couple.

Wonderful host and good apartments

We came a late evening and the host met us, helped us with our bags and he was really friendly. He made the stay there very pleasant and he helped us with everything we wanted help with. He checked in on us everyday to see if we needed anything and he showed real hospitality, drinking coffe, served us food that his brother cooked. We are definitely coming back! The apartment we got was a former restaurant and had really interesting decor. that part of the building was a bit worn but not in any important way, really cosy and big frosted windows that let in lots of light but no see through. Nice garden and grill.

Great location, Great host

I can't say enough about this apartment and the host. He was there when we arrived, met us at the door. Gave us a quick tour of the apartment and the facilities, which were spotless, spacious and afforded a great view of the city. He was also a great tour guide, ready to answer any questions we had about the city, what to see, what not to see, where to eat, etc. I cannot say what a great experience this was.

nice apartment

This is not a hotel, it was an apartment. not too far from the Latin Bridge and the main atractions of the city. The owner was super helpful, I arrived late and he was waiting for me. I also left very early and he was there to say goodbye and make sure that the taxi that he called for me was there.

Avoid - Guaranteed booking doesnt mean guaranteed

Here are the facts. We booked this apartment through hotels.com and got a guaranteed email saying the apartment was reserved. On arrival we were told that the apartment we had booked was no longer available as the previous occupants decided to stay for the rest of the week. After much discussion and dismay they offered to split us and for 1 of us to sleep in what looked like a lounge/hotel lobby with a sofa bed (where most people walked through to get to their apartments) and a studio. Obviously this was unacceptable and again after much discussion we were offered a 1 bed apartment which obviously hadnt been cleaned and was clearly one of their friends houses who was away for a period of time. I did a quick check on hotels.com to check if it was available. What do you know, it was. My recommendation is to avoid this hotel as a guaranteed booking with these clowns is not guaranteed. They simply do not know hotel/guest management 101.

came to sarajevo to seek the local experience. Apartments sarajevo is the right place to go! - The reason i rated the neighbourhood not "5 stars" is because it's local. I loved it for that very reason, but I expect some travellers might find a back-alley type of location a bit off-putting. I personally no doubt recommend this place and specifically the host to all travellers who seek the independent style and touch and conversations with the locals.

Spacious but dirty and no hot water

Good location close to old town, but on narrow street not well accessible. Spacious. You are required to take off your shoes on the first floor - with no heating in the stairwell and in winter, this was very inconvenient. The room was extremely dirty - particularly the bathroom, which had not at all been cleaned. The previous occupant still had extremely personal items in the drawers which had not been removed. NO HOT WATER - expect nothing but cold showers. Heating went on and off. No maid service. Unresponsive landlords - we called a number of times to draw attention to problems, but got no effective response. There were promises to send a maid, but it happened only once. In effect we felt taken advantage of. It was telling that there were no hotels and apartments available in Sarajevo over the New Year - but this one was empty. Bedrooms in the attic are a little difficult to move around in, given the low ceiling.

A lovely apartment in Sarajevo

We had a wonderful stay here. The owner was so hospitable and welcoming. We felt like we were staying in his home. The apartment itself was roomy and the backyard/garden was a wonderful addition. We would stay here again without question the next time we are in Sarajevo.

Good location and kindness at its best

My girlfriend and I girlfriend stayed a couple of days in Appartents Sarajevo in Sarajevo. We were originally to stay in one smaller room, but were offered the great big appartment on the top floor at the same price! The place is close to the center of the city and all major attractions. The host is very friendly and helpful and we highly recommend this place to anyone who plans a visit in Sarajevo.

Veldig bra opphold i en veldig bra by. Apartments Sarajevo ligger fint til med utsikt over hele gamlebyen, vi ville ikke bodd noe annet sted. Litt kaldt i leiligheten i desember, men servicen var utmerket og vi fikk alt vi spurte om. Ville bodd der igjen. Husk å mate gullfisken!

Spectacular views

The apartments in question offer by far the most spectular views in Sarajevo. In close proximity to the Old Town, surprisingly quiet and serene, the appartment was just the right place to be in. Yours truly spent five nights in the appartment and can attest to all the positive reviews it has recieved. The appartments are clean & spacious, and come with a friendly host to cater to your needs.

Lovely hospitality

We felt like we lived in a property of a friend. The flat had everything we needed, even a fountain with fish in the garden, which delighted my 5-year-old son-he could have played there all day... The only problem was finding it, our taxi driver was asking lots of people and driving around for a while, but that was an adventure in itself. It's not a hotel, just a private house. The owner was lovely and very helpful. We took a few trips in the tram, unfortunately we didn't know that we had to stamp the tickets we bought as soon as boarding the tram-so we had to pay a fine, which wasn't a good experience.

Far from our expectations

We where a family with 2 adults and 2 children going to Sarajevo in August to enjoy the old city and see the sorroundings. We made our reservation based on all the positive information in their internet add. In order to secure the most comfortably and pleasure stay, we chosed the most expensive room suitable for five persons. We arrived late that evening and had difficulties finding the place. The place is located in a narrow alley with no signs. We were assigned to a 1 room basement appartment with stone walls and bunk beds for 4 persons. Because we had made several similar reservations and had a lack of time, we did not remember the info from the website at the time of arrival. However when arriving back from a late dinner, we found that the room had no towels, and even more important no aircondition. Neither did we see no balcony, no view, no training facilities and no restaurant. Breakfast was not included despite it was stated in the add. The beds was uncomfortable and we couldnt sleep in that warm and humid basement. We was very close to leaving at 2 am. despite the fact that we had a bottle of wine with our dinner. Next morning we made a complaint to the manager demanding a full money return. After a discussion we received 40% of our money back. We strongly advise others to be sure to not be assigned to the basement appartment, especiallly when the temperature is high. The location is 10 min walk from the old city.

This was an amazing place to stay. The host was wonderful, the apartment modern and the views breathtaking. Only a 5min walk to the city center.

5 star apartment

I stayed in this apartment for 9 days. When I arrived everything was clean and in good condition towels, cleaning supplies ... Etc. Very spacious apartment with great balcony view over the mountain. Location is 5 mintues away from downtown Sarajevo. Owner is close and provided phone number to assit. The apartment has fully working heating system and hot water. Plasma Tv with multiple channels and high speed Internet is provided. Would defiantly stay here again.
