'Our home and hosts were absolutely perfect. Great communication from our hosts and information regarding things to do and places to eat on the island. The home was perfect and the outdoor space even better. We loved sitting outside each night listening to the ocean. We will be back.'

'The house is located on a hill and the neighbours are mostly farmers. The house offers all necessary facilities and as a guest you can also use its beautiful garden. A small supermarket and a baker are within 5 min driving distance. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and gave us some good suggestions for trips to interesting places and for nice hikes. If you like a relaxing holiday in the Faial countryside we can recommend this house.'

'Wat een ongelooflijk mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht, zelfs vanuit alle slaapkamers geweldig uitzicht op zee. Het huis was heel comfortabel, ook bij wat minder mooi weer, heel goed uitgerust en mooi ingericht. Ongeveer 1.5 km lopen naar Santo Amoro, mooi klein dorpje met een hele leuke mercearia met lekkere verse boordjes, croissants en lekkere koffie. Ontvangst door helena was heel warm en plezierig.'

'We choose this apartment where we stayed for a week for its central location and this turned out to be the case. It is located close to the regional road to the mountain area and Lajes. 'The house was comfortable. The gentleman living in the adjacent home was very gracious, helpful and welcoming. The house is as listed. It is a short walk to the ocean. 'Casa Santana is relatively recently renovated traditional stone house with beautiful views out over the sea and the island of Sao Jorge and easy access to some lovely walks including one along the coast. We wish there was better communication from the property, especially for check-in, as well as more availability for the "front-desk" which was never open while we were there. Nice apartment with great view
"We choose this apartment where we stayed for a week for its central location and this turned out to be the case. It is located close to the regional road to the mountain area and Lajes. The host was not able to welcome us in person but via the phone we received all essential information, we could always reach her by phone. She provided some fresh fruit, tomatoes, water, milk, coffee and tea, so we did not have to buy these at the start. The house has a great sea view and has all facilities you need to have a comfortable stay. There are 3 restaurants, 2 supermarkets and a baker within 5 min drive by car. The sea swimming pool is at approx 15-20 min walking distance. It really met our expectations."
