My husband and I came here on our baboon and it was perfect for me. A beach front sliding door that opens up the a short path leading to the beach access stairs. It wasn’t a far walk at all and exactly what I needed in my third trimester. Checking in was super easy (we were even able to check in 45 minutes early). The space was the perfect size for a couple. We may come back when we have our baby! Super close to the Seaside shops. If I weren’t pregnant I would have biked there daily. Overall great experience!!

Unique Experience

Enjoyed the stay. Very homey condo in small condo complex. Close to everything. Beach was not crowded and very laid back. Good times.

It was easy to walk down to the beach and very nice to have four chairs and two umbrellas provided. Very quite and restful with comfortable bed and beautiful bath.

Location is great. Management responded promptly to our multiple concerns. Would recommend someplace for renters to store non perishable food items and about a third of the patio has things either left or stored there so non-usable space. We did have to sweep the porch before we could sit out there.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is very good and the sunset in the evening time is even better! We really enjoyed our time! The only complaint I have is that you could tell the floors weren’t cleaned and the tables by the couch were very dusty. Also, the doors were extremely hard to open/close and the blinds barely did anything due to many of them missing and not closing all the way. Even with this issue we will still be back!

Reviewer Comments: We had a decent stay..The outside area is beautiful.. but we did see three snakes during our stay.The unit has everything..But could use a deep cleaning.We was thankful for all the lights that is available in the unit as they are needed.The bedding was comfortable.The sliding glass door is tricky as you really need to check it to see if its locked.We really didn't cook or use the flatware as it was dirty. We did use a few items that we hand wash..

Great Getaway for Two

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely beautiful condo! One bedroom, ocean front with great views. Décor was done with great thought. Insets in pantry, bathroom and closet made easy way to put your personal items on the shelf and out of the way. The patio was so comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen has all updated appliances and love the selection of coffeemakers too. The condo and surroundings were very well taken care of and even the beach was nice and clean. No worries of trash or peoples pets leaving their deposits. You can rent bikes right across the street and I also thought that the traffic when crossing the street was very pedestrian friendly. The management was very helpful if you had any questions. This condo would be great for two people or even if you had young children. I do want to add that the pictures of condo are accurate.

Reviewer Comments: The condo had an extremely bad smell and wasn’t the cleanest. I spent the first day of my vacation buying candles and cleaning supplies to help with the odor. This condo does have a nice ocean view but the smell ruined it for me.

Reviewer Comments: took two 15 year old grandchildren for their first experience on the gulf. They had to sleep on the floor the whole week, because the sofa that was advertised as pull out, didn't pull out anything. Very dissappointed that have to pay $3000 for unit and have to sleep on floor. Otherwise the unit was fine. We have used Benchmark a lot in the past with great results, this was the first time we got a dud condo.

No Attention to Detail

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, I will not be leaving a 5-star review. When we got ready to go to bed at 9:44p on the first night, we discovered there were no sheets for the sofa bed or the Murphey bed. I had to reach out through text three times asking for them and called once. Sheets were not received until 3:43p the next day. One of our kids had to sleep in a chair as a result. Unacceptable for a vacation. When sheets finally arrived, it was only 1 set. Sheets were the only thing delivered. No comforter or blanket. Our family finally went out and purchased blankets rather than asking for something else from the management company. The expectation to cover up with a single sheet is unacceptable. When I requested a second set of sheets, they were delivered in a timely manner. When I rented the unit it listed 3 beds were in the unit, yet there was only bedding for 1. When we went to pull out the Murphey bed, there were loose screws lying on the wood and floor. This indicated the structure would be unsafe for someone to sleep on. As a result the Murphey bed mattress went directly on the floor. Not what was advertised on the listing. The unit only came with 4 towels for 4 people to use over the course of 4 nights. I went out and bought laundry detergent just so I could wash bathing towels daily. We brought our own for beach use. The toilet paper and paper towels were terrible quality. These were other items we went out and purchased on our own. The unit didn’t even have salt and pepper or hand soap in the kitchen. Overall, the start up amenities were poor quality and service was poor as well. All of these issues were Benchmark Management problems. We loved the location of the unit, updates to the unit, and proximity to the pool and beach access. I hope the unit owner has access to this review, as they are paying for quality management that just wasn’t there.

Not much bang for your buck

While this place is in a beautiful location there is so much not right with this condo We were met with a very moldy old smell did not seem clean at all I put a sheet over the couch as I was afraid to sit on it the rug was dirty as well also dirty dishes that had been put up this place needs a serious upgrade so many extension cords and I had to move things around to get the coffee maker hooked up Most times we can see past certain things and take it in stride and never post bad reviews but this I could not for the amount of money we paid while the view was nice the patio was also filthy we had to clean it off before we could sit on it Also the shower head never worked right and the shower curtains were dirty as well

There was a family of rats skittering around outside coming and going from the left side of the grassy area. This made me suspect of every sound I heard inside. The view was awesome - just difficult to enjoy when every sound made you jump. Some texts were not responded to: parking pass and code to the gate to get to the beach. Had to go out the sliding doors; therefore leaving unit unsecured.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I had a wonderful time on the more secluded beach of seagrove and loved being right on the beach. It rained a few days and there was a riptide for a few others so having the wonderful view and large slide window doors made a huge difference in our experience.

Love this place!

I have stayed at Emerald Hill 1 several times, and I love it. It’s comfortable, in a great location, and spacious for a one-bedroom condo. The only suggestion I have is to put some grab bars in the bathroom to make getting in and out of the tub a great deal safer.
