We ended up switching hotels immediately after check-in. The service was disappointing from the start—rather than a warm welcome, we were asked if we “didn’t have a phone” because they wanted us to scan a QR code to check in. The staff member then left us standing there, only to return with a single key for two guests and no information about basics like breakfast times or Wi-Fi.
The room itself was spacious and the AC worked well once adjusted to a higher fan setting, but that’s about where the positives ended. The door had to be locked from the inside with the key, which felt outdated and unsafe. The balcony doors didn’t close fully at the top, and while the room was clean, it was very run down—chipped paint on furniture and an overall worn feel.
Another major issue is the location. The hotel is about 50 minutes from Palma, where most excursions begin, and a taxi from the airport costs ~€90. The pictures online present a far more glamorous image than the reality—it felt like catfishing.
The surrounding area is walkable with shops and restaurants, but ultimately the poor service, tired condition of the hotel, and inconvenient location were deal breakers for us.
