Sundial F401 Penthouse Beachfront with Wrap Around Balcony

Our 2-bedroom condo--Sundial F401 has beachfront views complete with sliding glass doors that open full width of the living room to allow for sea breezes and sounds the surf. Weekly Sat. to Sat. except in value season, we can offer shorter stays, but weekly is best value. We offer a large screened wrap around balcony with furnishings. Our condo has been professional designed with upscale kitchen and baths. Flooring is ceramic tile throughout (no carpeting). Our condo sleeps 6 (king bed, two queens in guest room, queen sofa sleeper), is fully equipped, and decorated in tropical colors. Because this is our own vacation home, we furnish some extras--washer/dryer, ceiling fans as well as AC, 3 smart TVs, binoculars, hair dryers in baths, beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys, games, books, starter supplies and bath amenities, etc.

Self check-in. At this time condo is accessible by stairs. Also view our Sundial 1-bedroom B307 VRBO #79271 , other 2-bedroom Sundial B306 VRBO #673556.

This Sundial condominium offers 1/2 mile of uncrowded beach, condo swimming pool, free wireless internet, BBQ grills.

Please don't confuse us with the adjoining Sundial Resort. Our condos are updated, clean, and we provide extra amenities you would not receive at the neighboring Resort property.

Contactless check-in at property. Cleaning protocols in place.

Adjoining Sundial Resort is a separate property. Open to the public at the Resort are tiki bar, restaurants, pizza kitchen, Bailey's Marketplace, tennis, spa services, and Sanibel Sea School. All other Resort amenities are restricted. Resort offers Daycation passes for use of its amenities for fee.

Owner highly encourages guests to purchase travel insurance to cover your trip. Cleaning protocols in place. Contactless entry.

Everything about our stay was truly wonderful! Amazing view (and open sliding glass doors to the sound) of the ocean, so nice having 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, close to everything in Sanibel. Even the master bedroom bed was super comfortable! And when I had a small question about how to turn something on, Candy was available and got right back to me within a very short time. We loved it there and would definitely stay there again.

We selected this unit for the views, king master and separate beds for our 2 kids. Everything was as expected. View was amazing. Kitchen had all the necessities we needed for breakfasts & lunches at home. Ample towel supply. Appreciate the pool being so close and having a couple of options to rinse off before going back up to the unit. We missed the detail about there being an elevator until we were leaving but our kids needed the exercise anyway! no problems parking. Communication with host was great. Area was so much fun to explore. Pic is the beach outside of the condo. We enjoyed the colors of the sky each night of our stay.

There was still some construction happening on the oceanfront condos during our stay, and the pool was in the process of reopening — it finally opened the day before we left. The resort pool is open - for a fee - I would recommend the food voucher option. That said, the condo itself is spectacular and truly needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. The wraparound balcony/lanai was our go-to spot during the dramatic late-night storms, offering a front-row seat to Florida’s impressive lightning shows — all while Sanibel stayed dry.Check-in was a breeze, and Candy was fantastic to work with — quick responses and easy communication made everything smooth. Our kids loved having their own room with separate queen beds, and my wife especially appreciated the provided Picaridin for the no-see-ums (I really should’ve used it too!).To the next family who stays here: enjoy every moment. Hopefully, you’ll feel just as at home as we did.

The listing for the property, especially the video that accompanied it was very misleading. The video showed lushly landscaped grounds and a beautiful fully functioning pool area. In reality there was construction work going on in the building and multiple buildings, Noise, chain link fences in the parking lots, torn up grounds and the pool, while it looked fine wasn't open to the public. The unit itself was very nice and well appointed and furnished but the grounds and the construction noise was a huge turnoff.

Family Vacation June 2022

We had a wonderful time in Sanibel. The condo was perfect. The view of the pool and ocean was amazing. We had plenty of room for our party of 5. Candy was very responsive to any of my inquiries. We loved that the condo included beach/pool towels and beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. We have found our new favorite place to stay on the island. This is the first time we have visited Sanibel in June. We found the heat to be bearable especially having the pool and ocean right outside your door. Much less traffic than during busy season. We were able to walk right in to most of our favorite restaurants: Traders, Thistle Lodge, Doc Fords, Sanibel Cafe and Mucky Duck.

Sanibel Stunner!

We just arrived home from our trip to Sanibel & had an amazing time. We rented a condo at Sundial at Sanibel F401. We were so happy that we did! This unit is truly a home away from home. It’s well appointed & tastefully decorated. The kitchen has everything you will need from making coffee to baking cookies to mixing margaritas! The views are amazing! We overlooked the pool & had a terrific view of the ocean. We drank coffee on the lanai in the morning & cocktails in the evening. Also, the beach storage area was well stocked with new beach chairs, umbrellas & lots of children’s play toys. The complex is well maintained & taken care of. The landscaping is lush & well manicured. The pool area has lots of lounge chairs, multiple umbrellas & a beautiful pool. The best part is the distance between the pool & ocean are only footsteps away so you can take advantage of both. As vacations go, I can highly recommend this condo. We will be back soon!
