'The hotel staff is super. The rooms are somewhat outdated. I had a room on the 5th floor with volcano view. Outside there are loud fans of airco units. The sliding doors/windows don't work nor close completely. The shower is hard to get right, there's either a powerfull jet or a tiny bit less powerful jet to choose from, a diagonal jet all over the place. There are frequent parties, on Friday night one with loud music outside till 2:30. In the hotel lobby bar area next to the restaurant...

'Incredible service, amazing staff, and great food and drinks. La Boca Olas is the top place to stay in el Tunco beach, and probably anywhere in La Libertad. Everything is kept clean and tidy in the rooms and on the grounds. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful answering questions about the area and arranging tours. Our room was very comfortable and spotless every day. '

'This mountain domes style hotel had absolutely stunning views and was super cute and relaxing. The room was well equipped with a BBQ, mini fridge, microwave, fireplace, robes, and even a telescope, which was a fun touch. The only downside was that there was no heater, and it got very cold at night.'
