« This cabin was the perfect basecamp for a couple of days of skiing at Purgatory. If you're "city folk", you might find the drive up (consisting of some twists and turns) intimidating, but it's navigable in 2WD/FWD during non-winter times. I drove it a number of times in 2WD in a half-ton pickup and another drove it in a FWD car, no issues. Distance to town was perfect drive, got to see elk herd on way home from dinner about 5:45-6pm on 335 road to house. We dont see them in Texas so it was very neat.
