Comfortable House, with excellent location to visit the attraction of the Central Valley, as Volcans, San José, Heredia, Alajuela, Cartago, the house have space to be relax and enjoy of a nice House, nice living room, big patio where you can read, nice TV room, and the bedrooms are big, with nice beds. Near to the House are Supermarkets, different kind of restaurants, bars and different kind of stores. To be in the House from the airport you need to drive 5 miles. The House have WIFI, Cable TV, phone for local call or receive call. The house is not for parties.

GIANT property close to airport

Wow this place was HUGE!!! This is a mansion near downtown. There ere like 8 beds at least, a giant courtyard inside, everything was clean and the host got the property ready in one day after our previous reservation did not give us check in information in time and I had to book somewhere else. They had it ready so quickly and Ms Cruz was so nice when we arrived. Don’t miss on this place. The only downside is there is no AC, but we didn’t get too hot at night. Maybe adding screens for the doors or widows so we could leave the door open would be nice. I was too scared to let in bugs or a snake.

Very Spacious and Comfortable

My family of six had LOTS of room to spread out. We enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to locations we were visiting in the city. We appreciated the grocery and quick meal options nearby, within a short walking distance. On check-in the cleaning was still in progress so maybe not everything was complete. The floors were swept but not mopped, they were fairly dirty. The table needed to be wiped. Some of the dishes were not fully cleaned from previous use. With that said, we enjoyed it very much and the courtyard was great. It's a very secure property and we felt safe.

Peaceful getaway in prime location

This was a very beautiful and peaceful house. As soon as you enter the garage you cannot hear the noise from the street. When you enter the house you feel like you are not in a busy city. It is a large house with all of the necessities. It is a very well designed home. This is by far the best rental we have stayed in. It is conveniently located to many different restaurants and two gourmet supermarkets. You can eat whatever kind of food you want within walking distance or cook at the house with seating and dishes for a large group. The yard is so tranquil. We will be back. Also if you have a dog this place is very secure.

Fun Spot for a Group

This location was a great find. Plenty of space to sleep and play. Fun backyard getaway with a bar, as it was a restaurant renovated to a home. Note there is a jacuzzi tub in the master bath, however, there is no hot tub outside. In a great neighborhood with markets and restaurants within walking distance. Gated with large covered parking. Would gladly have stayed multiple nights, but was staying with friends in San Isidro. Felt safe and comfortable. Had everything we needed. Short drive to the airport. Easy check-in and check-out. Host was quick and easy to communicate with.

We had difficulty finding the place. Driving in and out of the garage was difficult because it is on the main road, with heavy traffic. Other than that it is a great place, great location close to the airport, and the support person was very helpful.

Never got to stay

My wife and I had planned on spending the night here but were delayed on our trip by not one but two bridges that washed out in a major rainstorm the night before. Harold had been very helpful in our planning and communication ahead of time and we expected that we would really enjoy our stay but alas never even got to see the property. Maybe next time.

Stayed one night with friends. Great location, close to airport and Marriott. House is huge with a great layout and secure parking. Owner communication and check in/check out were great. Only complaint was a crazy amount of ants in the kitchen by the sink. Imagine easy fix. No AC so if that is your thing then be aware. Overall would definitely stay here again. Thanks to the owner and their hospitality.

Great location! Big house!

This house was right near what we needed. We used the Marriott for an excursion pick up, we were super close to the airport pickup for family, food was nearby and even our church! House was huge and must have been quite the property for his family growing up! It is older now but we liked it a lot. There are a few disrepairs and the property is showing its age- like the shower door handle bar kept popping off when we shut it, dim bathroom lighting, or toilets not flushing well, but overall we have no major complaints! There really isn’t much in the way of AC though. Each room has a fan. The master has a stand up unit that blew air but we didn’t feel anything cold coming out of it. By day two we learned to open doors and get a great breeze to cool things off and that helped tremendously so we weren’t hot after that! We were initially nervous about opening windows because if mosquitos or roaches (we had just arrived to the country) but after opening the windows it was so worth it! And there wasn’t a big problem so that was awesome. The price was great, location great, and Harold‘s communication was top notch . He was in constant communication with us. More so than any other Vrbo owner we have experienced! We really appreciated that!
