« I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again. »

« For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us. »

« We had a fabulous stay at Casa Sophia at Alma del Rio. The house is even more beautiful than the photos show. The thoughtful design, attention to detail, and execution are all very impressive. I look forward to seeing the additional lodgings completed. We especially enjoyed the view over the forest and the rainwater shower. Birding from the upper floor was fantastic. We called it our treehouse. Hadas and staff made us feel welcome and responded quickly to questions. »
