'De algehele ruimte is prima, het matras en de hoofdkussens waren goed. Een plafondventilator en een staande ventilator aanwezig en voldoende. Geen airco. Het sanitair voldoende maar goedkoop, alles afgewerkt met heel dun plastic (douchecabine, wc bril). Service is goed. Waar je rekening mee moet houden is de geluidsoverlast. Honden, verkeer, eigen verhuur van auto's en luid piepende en krakende tussendeuren. De 4 kamers liggen dicht tegen elkaar aan en direct langs de weg en het eigen...

'We stayed here one night (last night of our 2 week trip) and it was awesome! Road getting to location was a bit bumpy but doable. We loved the view and all of the bird sounds. Host was a great communicator as well! We hope to return in the future.'

'Such a delight! We are on a mission trip with lots of tools in our vehicle. The gated parking is what drew our attention. Our Hosts were wonderful, and we felt like family from the start. Walking into town was a treat.'

'We had a great experience. The property is as advertised, great view from the balcony, comfortable bed, full kitchen, nice bathroom. We felt safe and secure the entire time. Julie and Gary are wonderful people, if you have no itinerary, they can dial you in in no time, if you have a full schedule, as we did, they will give you all the tweeks to it, that only a local could. Very nice, hospitable people.'

'Service nonexistent. No maid service at all. Had to ask for clean towels. No night lighting; impossible to get to without flashlight. No internet, no telephone. Had to follow owner into nearest town in order to pay bill...in cash. Unprofessional and sorely lacking in all respects. Definitely not worth the money or the time. Stay away from this one. '

'We loved everything about Rio Mantra. It is a great place to land each night after exploring the wonders of San Ignacio and area. We even cooked in one night. We spent most of our time outside by the pool listening to the sounds of the jungle. A toucan came by several days and a family of parrots made a playful racket. It was great!'
