'This resort is far from the claim of a 5-star resort with the Wyndham Grand branding throughout. Poor build quality, views of unfinished villas, showers with hard-to-control temperature, and hot showers lasting only 2 mins. The staff, though friendly and trying their best, isn't at an international standard. Food quality was mixed, with some excellent dishes, while others were subpar--recommend reducing menu options to focus on their top dishes. Heavy mosquito and spiders in villas. '

'Jasmine was extremely helpful and welcoming. Our room and bed were comfortable in a standard double bungalow and the air-conditioning and fan were very efficient. We enjoyed the pool too cool off and the food was good. Jasmine organised a local driver for us- Nhat, and he was excellent, very flexible with time dropping us and coming back to pick us up when we were ready. Very good value and a safe driver (not always easy to find in Vietnam).'

The location was very convenient as it's right down the road from the Bai Dinh Pagoda. I'd happily stay with them again on my next trip to Ninh Binh.'

'The resort is beautiful. The downfalls were, there were no labels on any of the breakfast dishes so this made it hard. We noticed dog poo near us sadly as we were eating. Communication isn't the greatest - we were told they'd organise a car to the airport but hadn't realised that we had to pay the driver cash and so this made us rushed for our flight. There are bicycles you can use for free which is handy to go into town centre.'

'Anh and the ninh binh palm homestay provided us with one of our most memorable stays in vietnam. Anh is fluent in english and more than willing to provide assistance in booking further transport or suggesting activities in the surrounding areas. We were able to hire a scooter from the homestay for a very fair price which helped us greatly. The room was very clean, the bathroom was perfect with high pressure hot water in the shower. 'Hoang Minh Mountainside Villa was a pretty unique experience overall. Being out in the jungle setting was definitely cool and gave the stay a different vibe compared to being right in town. That said, the location is quite far from Ninh Binh and Tam Coc, so getting to restaurants, shops, or anything else takes a bit of effort. The property does provide bikes, but unfortunately all of the ones we saw had flat tires and didn’t feel reliable enough for a longer ride into town. On the plus side,...

'My stay at the Trang An was great! The staff is extremely nice, they help whenever they can. They went above and beyond when we asked for something, for example when we asked if we could get into our room a bit earlier, how to get from Ninh Binh to Cat Ba and when we asked to do our laundry pretty last minute. They even gave us an extra bottle of water when we were on the way to the next destination. Highly recommend this place!'
