Very Good, Safe Place but Needs TLC
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Serenidad with its gorgeous view in a safe, quiet location and a short drive to restaurants and stores.
The villa is beautiful and roomy, but it needs some attention inside and out before it falls into disrepair. The maintenance issues are minor, with the biggest issue being the raised deck at the end of the pool - it is a safety hazard as it is falling apart. Also, the listing details and/or pictures need to be updated because the outside bar fridge, two lounge chairs, hammock, and trampoline are no longer available.
The villa is advertised to accommodate 18 people, but it didn't have enough pool towels, plates and patio table chairs for the 10 of us. An AcoModo rep was available via whatsap whenever we needed them and were quick to bring more pool towels. We found a few more plates so we didn't mention that shortage. AcoModo even helped us arrange a delicious Panamanian dinner at the villa with Chef Angie.
A suggestion: If a representative isn't able to meet the guests at the villa, perhaps an information binder could be available for things like: when and where the garbage is collected, if there is recycling, how the alarm system works, things to do in the area, etc.
A few things to note: As others stated, the dryer does not work. Bring a clothes line and clothes pins. We were told the water is not potable, but aren't certain if this is true. Be prepared for power outages. We had a couple during our stay. No big deal.
Good stay all in all.
