This house was reserved for a quick family get away. The property was large enough for our family. And, we enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub. The backyard felt private and is very nice to spend time with the family.Entry into property was a breeze and communication with Daniel (Host) was easy.If you have mobility issues, please know there are stairs to the front door and a very steep driveway, but that wasn't much of an issue for us. There is very limited board games, so if that's something you like to do, take yours with you. Also, if you intend to cook, you might want to take spices, the kitchen does not have more than salt and pepper.The house is nice, but does need some TLC, there is some peeling paint in one of the bedrooms and the pool table felt needs to be repaired/replaced. The location of the property was great for us and provided easy access to everything we wanted to do/see.We had a great time and I recommend this property and this host.

Perfect house for a mom and three teenagers. There were so many things to keep them entertained after a busy day at Fiesta Texas. Everything was as described, and we had a comfortable stay. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. Communication was fast and check in information was simple. Quick and easy check out instructions are always appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.

Honest Review

My wife and I decided to take a trip to San Antonio to see family. This place popped out as it had a hot tub and the room we needed for our week long visit. 1) The listing is beautiful but does not match what we saw in person. The place does not appear to be maintained and/or cared for. The pictures are filtered like you would a real estate listing. 2) I received no response from the host other than check in, a question about the garbage cans, and check out. I sent messages to ask about connecting to the internet, if I could have my family come over for a small get together. Nothing, no way to reach out other than the app and hitting a voicemail when I call the host number. 3) The house was filthy, large piles of dust in all corners, on ceiling fans, and the floors were super dirty, turning our feet a dark black. We had to go get cleaning supplies to make it liveable. 4) The dishwasher was not mounted properly, tilting over toward us every time I loaded it. The fridge had no light. Some of the sockets in the kitchen did not work. 5) One of the living spaces had the smoke detector removed without a replacement. 6) The couch had a torn cushion along with the pool table was ripped and one stick broken and a ball chipped and un usable. We were very dissatisfied and wish I had held out for another property. The pictures I attached are of obvious water leakage (old) in the ceiling tiles, chips and dents on the walls, water damage to the flooring, and etc.

Nice property needing some attention.

The property was very nice. Owner needs to do some up keep. Towels were worn and there was not enough. Tub in master needed to be cleaned and did not work. There were hot water issues in the master bath as well. We could not use the main TV as well because the remote did not work. The owner did respond quickly and promised to address. I believe some of these issues were in previous reviews and may still need to be addressed.

Family vacation

Property was in good location and quiet neighborhood. Home was clean and had all needed amenities. Head rests on hotub could be replaced as well as outdoor seating area pads. They are getting faded and showing wear. Driveway area is very steep as well. Many may not mind but for me that was an issue but that didn't affect my stay. Overall very nice home and very spacious!

Spacious house and beautiful backyard in a great location; communication issues

The house was clean and spacious, and the patio and hot tub were great. The location is excellent, close to Six Flags and tons of restaurants and shopping. The kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, etc are all large and in great condition. We had a few issues though. I had asked in advance what type of coffee filters were needed, and was told that filters and coffee were provided, so I didn't need to bring any. When we arrived, there was a k-cup machine but no coffee to be found. When I messaged the owner he told me it should be in the kitchen. It was not, I looked thoroughly. He offered to reimburse us for the coffee if I would send the receipt. We went to the grocery store the next day to purchase coffee and sent the receipt to his assistant as requested, but never heard back from her nor have I received the reimbursement. It is a very small amount of $$ but much more the principle of being assured there would be coffee there, then needing it to get it ourselves and being treated less than politely throughout the situation. The other issue surrounded the hot water in the house. We had hot water the night we arrived and took showers, but it never got hot again after that first night. There was a storm that first night and we thought maybe the power had surged and asked the owner if there were instructions to reset the water heater. I messaged the owner to ask. He did not reply to that message, and instead several hours later sent a message that he'd be unavailable the next few days and to contact his assistant if we needed anything. By that point we had given up on showers for the day. The next morning there was still no hot water. We left early, I messaged the assistant to let her know that the hot water never came back on, and didn't get a reply to that either. Daniel eventually replied that they'd get it back up and running, which didn't help us since we had gone 2 of 3 days without hot water. So, I'm torn on this one. The house itself is great and met all our needs. But the communication and lack of courtesy from the property manager was disappointing.

Wonderful warm weather getaway!

Our family really enjoyed our time at this house and property! It was well located within good driving distance to wonderful food, great walking trails, downtown San Antonio, the airport, and shopping. The bedrooms and bathroom were ideal for our family. We appreciated the open floor plan. The private back yard with the hot tub was also very nice. Daniel was good about getting back to us when we had questions.

House review

The house was very dirty, lights don’t work, fans don’t work, no instructions on operating tv, not enough linens for 6 adults, hot tub has only 50% of jets working and after a pool maintenance man was there, it would not heat and nobody would come fix it. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The actual house is misrepresented on the VRBO site.

Spacious house!

Great home, plenty of room! We rented this home mainly for the hot tub so our family and kids could enjoy but it was really dirty and smelled terrible during our stay... I did ask if it could be cleaned but we stayed during the new year so I figured the cleaning company was closed. Just wish they would have had it cleaned before we came. I even verified that we would be able to use it. (Could have saved over $300 on a similar house with out a hot tub) There were a few things that need to be fixed & replaced but the house is beautiful. We were able to make a Christmas dinner with what was available in the kitchen. There is a pool table, no foosball. The beds feel like a firm memory foam mattress so half of us slept terribly the others loved it. I didn't see pillow cases for the extra pillows & there's no laundry detergent. I hope whoever is reading has a great stay!
