The cottage has got everything you need, even appletrees for your fruit, chickens for your eggs and a vegetable garden for your tomatoes and herbs. A wonderful place in the heart of the Charente Maritime.'

'Lovely location, near a lake with restaurants, kayaking. Property was lovely, nice pool and amenities. Staff were really friendly, they gave us free ice cream, milk when the shop was closed and extra water. They also let us have a late checkout which helped us out and found me a place to work whilst I was there. Great language skills and a very enjoyable stay.'

'This is a lovely well equiped property situated in a quiet area close enough to local shops to walk (through the beautiful vin yards) and beaches only a relatively short drive through lovely scenery. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. The host was very approachable and easily contactable'

'We had a wonderful stay in our gite with our own terras at the back. It is a quiet little bit of paradise. The premises with pool and different seating areas are very well kept. It is located near bigger places such as Rochefort and La Rochelle and of course the lovely islands. Stephan, the host, was very friendly and very helpful with local tips etc.'
