La Thuya immerses you in an enchanting setting, surrounded by a majestic river and lush forest. Just minutes from the Monts-Valin, Tadoussac, and the natural wonders of the Saguenay!

La Thuya welcomes you into a warm and inviting dome, nestled deep in the forest — the perfect place for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

Up on the mezzanine, accessible by ladder, you'll find a cozy queen bed, perfect for stargazing as night falls. A trundle bed with two single mattresses also makes this space ideal for a small family.

In the kitchen, everything is set up for your independence:
Two propane burners
A compact refrigerator with freezer
All the essentials: dishes, utensils, bowls, fondue set
And a barbecue grill for enjoying meals outdoors

In the morning, enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from the Keurig machine (1 capsule per adult per day included).

The full bathroom includes a modern shower and a premium composting toilet. Bed linens, towels, and eco-friendly products from Pure and Oneka are provided — gentle on you and kind to the planet.

Step outside and experience nature in total comfort! A spacious private terrace awaits, thoughtfully designed with a cozy gazebo, a catamaran-style net hammock for unforgettable moments of relaxation, and your very own private wood-fired Nordic spa and sauna for the ultimate wellness experience.

An outdoor firepit lets you enjoy evenings under the stars, while inside, a propane fireplace in the living area offers warmth and coziness after a day spent outdoors.

Please note: the accommodation is not suitable for young children, babies, or individuals with reduced mobility, but we warmly welcome families who are comfortable in this natural setting.

A few important details for a smooth and enjoyable stay at Exode en Nature:

Pets are NOT allowed in the La Thuya dome.
However, they are welcome in our five other accommodations!

Access to the accommodation
Your unit is located about 800 feet from the parking area, accessible via a forest trail.

General rules

All our accommodations are non-smoking.

Each reservation includes a maximum of two parking spaces.

There is no television, but you’ll have access to Wi-Fi — perfect for disconnecting… or working remotely in the heart of nature!

Your private wood-fired spa – an authentic experience
The Nordic bath is available year-round and is heated with wood, surrounded by nature and the soothing sound of the river. It’s a two-step ritual that invites you to slow down and reconnect with the moment. You’ll need to light the fire yourself to heat the water — a unique and rewarding part of the experience.

In winter, expect 5 to 6 hours of heating time on the first day. The water will maintain its temperature more easily in the following days. Please note that during extreme cold (below -20°C), you may not reach optimal water temperature despite your efforts. Pre-heating service is not available, allowing you to fully embrace this hands-on, nature-focused experience.

A true immersion in the forest
You are fully surrounded by nature, so it's possible to encounter insects, small critters, or even wildlife. This is part of the charm and not related to cleanliness, which remains a top priority. We kindly ask that you keep doors closed to avoid any uninvited guests indoors.

Note on the Sound Environment
Our domes are made of canvas, offering a fully immersive nature experience... but this also means that occasional sounds from Route 172 may be heard in the distance. These noises are usually faint, but may be noticeable at certain times of the day.
