House classified 4 stars, the white avocet is nestled at the end of a dead end in the village of St Clément des Baleines.
Built in 2007, the house is made up of a central part opening onto the terrace and the swimming pool through large bay windows.
A summer dining room next to the kitchen allows meals to be taken outside, even in low season.
On each side, on the left, two bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet. On the right, a bedroom and private bathroom and toilet.
The entrance courtyard (where you can choose to leave the car or the bikes) a garage for bikes ...
The garden and the wooden terrace are fully walled, not overlooked, in a very calm environment.
Heated pool from April 4 to September 30 (4.5 X 9 m)

The village of St Clément is only a few minutes away on foot (bakery, markets, restaurant, café, press.
The villages of Ars en Ré and Portes en Ré are located 6 and 10 kilometers away, both of which can be reached by cycle paths.

Final cleaning included in the rental price (except kitchen area)

Great house, great pool, great location

The house is very nice and spacious for 6 people. It is sprawling around the garden and the heated and newly renovated swimming pool. It is 500m from the center of the village and 10min bicycle ride from the “phare des baleines”. We really enjoyed our stay.

Biking heaven

We had stayed at St Marie in the past but the North side of the Island is even more stunning. The house is gorgeous, a quiet retreat that is on the cycle paths, so we left the car and explored on bikes. Every corner was a new delight, gorgeous beaches, tennis, golf, and the sweetest donkeys you will meet. A lovely break and we will be back.

A fantastic house.

A beautiful house, ideally arranged for a summer holiday on Île de Ré. St Clément is quiet, but has all the essentials (boulangerie, bar/restaurant, couple of shops). Easy to jump on a bike and explore further afield.

Wonderful stay

The house was beautiful - even better than the pictures. The kitchen was fully kitted out, which made cooking homemade meals very easy. The pool was lovely and Gisele put up a mesh fence for us so that our 2 yr old could play safely on the deck without us having to worry about her falling in the pool. The location is great - far enough out of town to be quiet, but a very short walk (8 minutes) to the market and boulanerie - even faster via bike. The closest beach is also a quick walk and there are even nicer beaches with a 10-15 minute bike ride. We hope to return!

Traumhaft schönes Ferienhaus

Ein wunderschönes, großzügiges und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wie Zuhause gefühlt. Der Innenhof mit Pool ist besonders großartig - man möchte gar nicht weggehen, obwohl die Insel so viel zu bieten hat. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison était parfait pour nous: très claire, deco avec goût, tout en bon état, la cuisine bien équipe, super piscine chauffée. Tout était très propre. La situation est bonne: le centre de Saint-Clement est proche, il y a un joli marché, une boulangerie et un resto sympa. Nous avons également joué au tennis, les cours sont à 10 minutes en vélo. La plage de la Conche et aussi à 10 minutes en vélo. Donc, maison parfaite pour une famille ou des adultes, service très chaleureux. Merci, Gisele!

Magnifique!

La maidon est comme sur les photos ou encore plus belle. En plus, elle est idéalement située pour aller decouvrir l'île de Ré, faire le marché au village ou pour aller se promener au bord de mer (3 minutes à pied) et la plus belle plage de l'île se trouve à 5 minutes en voiture ou 10 à vélo. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour et nous nous réjouissons d'ores et déjà de notre prochain séjour dans cette maison qui est un vrai bijou.

Luxe, calme et volupté

Charmante maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût, très fonctionnelle, bien équipée, très agréable à vivre et dans laquelle on se sent tout de suite à l'aise. L'endroit est propre, lumineux, très calme et reposant. L'agencement est parfait pour profiter pleinement à la fois de l'intérieur et de l'extérieur. Les différents lieux touristiques de l'île sont facilement joignables (en cette période de vacances de Pâques). Les propriétaires répondent très rapidement aux sollicitations et sont aux petits soins pour les locataires. Bref, un séjour parfait que nous renouvellerons avec plaisir.

Ein wunderschönes, großzügiges Haus

Wir haben herrliche Tage in diesem traumhaften Haus verbracht. Der Zustand des Hauses entspricht den Fotos. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und sauber. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und bietet viel Platz für 6 Personen. Wir kommen gerne einmal wieder.

Maison très confortable et spacieuse , très bien situee. Équipement de la maison parfait. Superbe pièce de vie et espace chambres bien séparés . Piscine très agréable maintenue à 25 sans souci (et la température extérieure n'était pas exceptionnelle). Accueil et Check out chaleureux. Enfin, pas de souci pour garer la voiture sur l'espace de la maison et c'est un vrai luxe bien appreciable.

Beautiful house surrounded by excellent cycle tracks.

We are a family of four, two teenage boys and parents. We arrived at the house exceedingly tired and hungry. Getting on to the island can be slow during peak season. We followed the travel instructions provided and found the house easily. The house is beautifully presented and clean. The layout and design perfect. We stayed for two weeks. We had bikes delivered to our door by a local shop. We cycled everyday, rarely using the car. There is a supermarket a short car journey away, but during the summer months this can easily be avoided. There is a very local outdoor market selling wines, fresh meats, fish and vegetables. The bakery sells a range of delicious breads and cakes and the mini market in the town square sells the basics. All this is within a five minute cycle, just head for the church. The town square also has a good resturant. We thouorghly enjoyed our holiday and highly recommend the house for families. Beware the pool is not heated! On sunny days (with the help of the thermal cover) it can get up to a reasonable temperature. My boys enjoyed it very much, but I kept my distance relaxing on a sun lounger with a good book! Happy holidays!! gremlins on this site have prevented me from editing the above... We did not have a balcony. The house is on one level.

Great house in a great location

This house was wonderfully organised and spacious. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we and our three children needed. We hired cycles in the town centre and the house is in a great location to hook up to local bike paths both short and long distance and we covered a great deal of KMs on our bikes! The host was very helpful and organised a taxi for us from the airport which was very useful - she was always on hand to answer questions. We had a perfect holiday. Highly recommended!
