'The apartment was excellent, like the photos. The location is very good; close to many services within the area which is clean, safe, and welcoming. The host was gracious and cooperative; it just took us about half an hour to get access to the apartment, otherwise all was great.'

'We stayed at a lovely and spacious apartment operated by Maison 7. It is located very quiet community that is relatively close to the airport (only a 15-20 minute drive). We were particularly grateful for the arrangements made to pick us up at the airport and to return us for the next morning for our flight. "Very bad experience at Hotel Viaje Downtown Caïro Upon arrival, we were given an “upgrade,” but the room was completely unfinished: no air conditioning, no wardrobe, and nothing like the photos. The next day we were moved to another room, which was acceptable for the price and location. The staff were friendly though. However, our stay was completely ruined by a serious safety issue. During our stay, several personal items (make-up) went missing from our room. At first, we thought it was a mistake, but it kept happening. This made us feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. We reported this to the manager, who promised an investigation and compensation before our departure. On the day of check-out, he was not there, and after that we never heard from him again. To this day, there has been no response and no resolution. This situation overshadowed and ruined our entire vacation. In addition, the photos of the hotel are misleading, the lift is extremely small, and the building feels unsafe due to poor stairways and abandoned areas. Most of the written reviews also do not match our experience at all — they seem like they were written for a completely different place. Conclusion: friendly staff and good location, but poor rooms, lack of safety, and no proper service. Absolutely not recommended."
