It was a good price, so perhaps we should not have been surprised to find that it was in need of maintenance. "Johanna could not have been nicer. My friends arrived from the States relatively early on our arrival date. They were able to at least drop off their bags and explore the neighborhood. The "how to" book was great and the added info we received from Johanna filled in the blanks not in the book. The neighborhood is super quiet and positioned very close to the Simonis Metro station. There is a lovely park across the street. We recommend this location highly."

"I was working at BRU airport during my stay so the apartment suited my needs fine, may not suit vacation tourists as much. Communication with Ewa prior to my visit was excellent. "Great central location but couple of issues - lights in bathroom didn't work, there was a massive ridge in the middle of the floor (trip hazard) & the fridge was not working - in fact it was running very hot & there was a burning smell in the unit (plastic was warping inside fridge around light) - a clear fire risk. When informed Smartflats simply thanked us for the info & made no attempt. to remedy or compensate. Poor service as we rented the apartment to prepare our own food & were limited....

"This is not suitable property for a normal traveler. The property is poorly converted house. The owner had let someone stay in one of the rooms in the rented apartment that I had booked while I was there. I did feel safe to go out or even use the shower as there was someone else there who I did not know. It was like a bad flophouse."

"We were only aim Antwerp for one night so we were looking for a convenient location, and this hit the mark. Practically steps away from the train station. The room itself was incredibly nice. Staff was friendly. Very nice bar/lounge area. Made for a great place to have a cocktail after, a long afternoon out sightseeing or a nightcap. For a one night stay, it was absolutely perfect. During an eight night trip throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, the room here was the nicest that we encountered. Very large room with a lot of nice amenities. "
