'Marj en Bruce zijn geweldige hosts. De gîte is meer dan volledig uitgerust en ligt in een mooie, grote tuin met eigen stukje bos. Marj en Bruce zijn erg aardig en zeer attent. We voelden ons erg thuis en hebben het enorm naar onze zin gehad.Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken.'

'Wij, m'n man en ik, hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Mazerolles. De golfbaan in de buurt was geweldig en het zwembad bij ons huisje was heerlijk. Veel leuke tips over de omgeving en restaurants gekregen waar we dankbaar gebruik van hebben gemaakt. We komen graag nog een keer terug bij Maggie en Alan.'

'Beautiful cottage and quiet location, where really everything is present as at home. The owners are friendly and very helpful, yet discreet. Who wants a carefree vacation and wants to relax is definitely in the right place. Despite the bad weather during our vacation we were still able to enjoy the heated pool. Definitely a must.'

'Le Hibou is a lovely gite in a beautiful area of rural France. The gites comfortably accommodated 6 of us. Sarah, our host, was so friendly, very helpful and served a delicious breakfast! We cannot recommend le Hibou enough- hopefully we’ll return soon. '

'Nous avons passés un très bon moment en famille dans cette belle demeure en pleine nature. L'endroit est très confortable et on s'y sent vite très bien. On est au calme, on a eu de belles soirées étoilées, la proximité des chevaux apporte une certaine sérénité. Le lieu est proche des grands axes routiers sans nuisances, il est donc facile de sillonner la région. Merci à Dominique et ses filles pour leur accueil, on garde l'adresse pour un prochain séjour !'

'Where to start...what a beautiful property in an equally beautiful location. From the booking to arriving at the property lines of communication were always welcomed and help was always offered. We arrived quite late and shown into an immaculately warm and cosy gite with all the amenities you could ask for - a lovely welcome basket and a chilling bottle of Rose. 'What a lovely gite this is. A hidden gem in rural Charente, and we absolutely loved our stay here at Chocolate Box Cottage. It is a beautiful spot. And if you want a quiet location, this is it. A real get away from it gite. It is wonderful, and we didn’t want to leave. "Nous n'avons pas pu passer la nuit, la réception fermant à 20h. Nous avons reçu l'e-mail de confirmation de réservation à 19h53. Nous étions encore en route, et il s'avère que le dernier paragraphe mentionne que la réception ferme à 20h. Ils ne prennent pas la peine d'appeler, et Expedia, où nous avons fait la réservation, ne donne même aucune information. Un endroit très douteux ; mieux vaut éviter cette étape. Au final, cela nous a coûté 148 €, et il s'est avéré qu'il y avait un très bon motel à 500 mètres. Cet endroit est un désastre ; évitez-le à tout prix."
