'Can’t recommend this hotel enough. We had such a lovely stay. The rooms were huge and the balcony was a huge added plus. Everyone working there was so friendly and went out of their way to help us. The location is beyond perfect- it’s super safe and walkable to the V&A and Oranjezicht market. Some reviewers negatively compared it to the neighboring Queen Victoria hotel, but we actually preferred how close the Dockhouse is to the pool area. We’ll definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape...

'Dit hotel ligt werkelijk temidden van de meest goddelijke druivenstreek uit gans Afrika. Denk niet na en twijfel niet uit andere hotels want beter dat Lanzerac ga je niet vinden. Het kost een aardig centje maar het is zijn geld méér dan waard. De behulpzaamheid ensiper vriendelijke bediening , het overdadige bij het ontbijt... de service en de Spa , de vele keuzes aan faciliteiten ... super veilig, gratis schuttle naar stellenbosh elke dag... dit is hemels'

'We had a nice stay, great ocean view location and very good variety of restaurants. The only thing that was not in line with expectations of a 5• hotel is the quality of the reception. Very very unprofessiknal! We booked a room 600 euro! per night + upgrade package to seaview room if available. On arrival they told us the hotel was fully booked! I showed them that there were still 8 rooms online available. They would get back to us but did not do so. So after a drink, I called again and they did...

'The room was large and spotless and the view of Table Mountain was spectacular. The little gifts left after turndown were a beautiful touch, quite fitting to the whole hotel. Last but no least the guest experience staff and concierge staff were amazing and made our visit that bit more special. If we can, we will definately be back.'
