Chalets in Round Island

'Really nice little place. It's older, but very clean, comfy beds. It's being upgraded in a very cute, old roadside hotel way. Beautiful pool. Really big with doors to outside and a hot tub. Close to town. Staff were very nice. Everything for my reservation was ready when I arrived. There is a tiny old school elevator. Some people might be scared of it although it worked perfectly. 'Pros: Very nice place in a beautiful area with large lakefront rooms a few minutes from downtown Mackinaw City. They have bonfires & smores at sunset on their beach, and a basic breakfast buffet in the morning. Cons: Room was a musty, breakfast was just ok, coffee was sub-par.'

'Breakfast was your typical hotel fare. Room was very small with very small bathroom with view of power cables and I spent 1100 dollars for two nights (Wed/Thur) during a typical week (no special events). Best to wait and book closer to when you go. Others staying there got much larger rooms with the lake view and paid about half to two/thirds of what I did, but they booked a week ahead. 'Everything is great at the Kewadin St. Ignace with the exception of the beds. The beds are extremely hard, which not everyone can sleep on comfortably.'

'The hotel is nice but is a little different! The layout is confusing but I would totally stay again. The 2 bedroom suite was worth it! The pool was clean and big also. We used the little arcade and that was fun but some things weren’t working the best. All in all we would stay again price wise, convince of two bedrooms when you have kids and location!'
