Total disaster for 7 nights
We arrived at the apartment on a Thursday night. As we arrived later than 22.00h because our plane was landing at that time, we were charged 30. If we had arrived later than 00.00h, we would have been charged 50. We write it here because it is something they do not inform you about when you make the reservation and we think it is important to know beforehand. We found out two days before arriving in Rome because the owner sent us a whatsapp, so we did not have much choice.
As for the apartment, it was a big disappointment. We were a family of 3 and although the apartment is spacious and there is enough room, we could not enjoy it because it was filthy and dirty. Apart from the dirt, the apartment is old and neglected, located near a discotheque and has very thin walls; so you can hear even the slightest noise.
It is clear that the apartment is not cleaned and checked before renting it to a new group. The crockery and cutlery were dirty (we even found blood stains in the cutlery drawer); the floor was NOT scrubbed, all the chairs and the sofa were full of stains, the furniture and the lamps were in bad condition (some bulbs already blown). The shower handle was filthy and the shower screens were full of lime scale (oh, and beware of showering two people at the same time). In the description it says that there are hairdryers in the bathroom. What there is is a closet full of dirty rags and a dryer covered in filth. Even the washing machine has mold stains, how is that possible? It is a pity that photos cannot be attached here, but you can ask the company for them, they have them.
We made all this known to the company that manages the rental, sending them photographs. They said they would talk to the owner but we did not hear from them nor did we get an offer to clean the apartment. A disgrace.
Considering the price for the rental, this is a scam and we recommend anyone reading this to look for other options. We hope that the owners will stop taking advantage of cheating tourists who come to enjoy their trip and a place to rest in conditions.
By the way, we still have not been refunded the tourist tax that we were overcharged.
