Als je op zoek bent naar een net hotel op een toplocatie, dan kan ik dit hotel 100 procent aanraden. De kamer is supernetjes, niet eens heel klein en je hebt geen enkele last van wat er buiten allemaal gebeurt.

Perfect hotel
We hebben echt genoten in Colonna Suite. Het is een klein maar bijzonder mooi en schoon hotel. De kamer was perfect met een fantastische badkamer. Eetzaal is klein maar erg goed. Lekkere koffie, goede broodjes en erg aardige bediening. Het personeel achter de balie is erg behulpzaam en legt alle mooie plekjes van Rome voor je uit. Je voelt je echt een gast. De ligging van het hotel is natuurlijk perfect. Tussen de Trevi-fontein en het Patheon. Op loopafstand van eigenlijk alles. Lopen doe je trouwens veel......goeie schoenen meenemen. Wij komen zeker terug!!

We travel regularly and have never written a negative review, nor are we “complainers”. However, this hotel was so overrated and misrepresented that we felt compelled to share our thoughts. To be fair, there were some satisfactory issues: pleasant staff, good breakfast, and a great location. Unfortunately, the facility & building were very disappointing! We paid a PREMIUM rate for a LUXURY SUITE for 6 nights, and it was below average in every respect - certainly NOTHING like the glowing descriptions online. First, the bedroom was 12’x12’. Although advertised, there was not a single chair or usable table in our "Suite", so there was nowhere to sit except the bed. The advertised Bar/Lounge didn’t exist. When asked where it was, the front desk clerk pointed to a shelf on the wall with a few bottles of liquor - there was no lounge. The property was dated & dark, & our “Suite” was poorly lit with 2 windows - both looking at walls which were feet away and in need of repair. The bathroom had a lingering odor of sewer gas on various occasions, poor lighting & limited privacy with a swinging door. Our expectations and the reality couldn’t have been much further apart. After a day of touring the beautiful city of Rome, there was absolutely no place on the premises we could sit and relax, inside or out. We would avoid coming back to the room and stay out at local restaurants for some light & fresh air, and a place to sit just to avoid going back to ‘the dungeon”, as we called our room.

We stayed in the luxury suite early May 2024. The staff was friendly and nice. 1) The room was very small. 2) The bath smelled strongly of mildew. Luckily the hotel provided slippers, which were very much needed, to the point I wore them inside/outside the bath. 3) The breakfast was spartan. The breakfast pastry was stale, the juice was room temp. The best item was the boiled egg. 4) The room was way overpriced. It was priced like a room in a 4-star hotel, when it was much more like a pension. 5) The pictures are very misleading.

Desiree at reception was professional, pleasant and most helpful in providing a map outlining all of the nearby sites and restaurant recommendations. The restaurant she suggested for dinner was delicious! Only here for one night she contacted our hotel in Florence to assure someone will be available for our late arrival. Very clean and well maintained. The room was exactly what we reserved. Highly recommend staying with them.

The location is perfect, its near the pantheon, trevi, spanish steps and all the shopping. So pleased to choose this hotel, we used uber service all the time, the pick up street is just few steps from the hotel. Lots of reataurants around and a starbucks and pharmacy around the corner.

The delux suite we had was terrible with a round bed and a shower with alternating colored lights. Room was tiny with a long hallway. Floor was filthy as I had to clean up a drink I spilled and the white towel was black from dirt. There was a window that overlooked the roof and rat traps. Staff were helpful and breakfast was very good. Best thing about it was the location nearby the Pantheon.

The location is the best. Easy walking to all. Trevi a couple of blocks. Pantheon around the corner. Great staff very helpful, will guide you and ordered taxi for us each day. Very clean and our room was an upgrade which was excellent. Well recommended. Restaurants within very short walking distance.

My husband, son and I stayed at the Colonna suite del Corso last week for two nights. What a brilliantly located option it turned out to be. Rooms are quirky. Ours had a huge round bed (odd, but comfortable). The room smelled strongly of air freshener when we arrived (note to the management - please don’t do that!) so we had to open the windows to let it disperse. The ‘bar’ and breakfast area is v small - it’s not really a hotel, more a B&B or room only option. However staff were friendly and we were able to leave our luggage on check out day. The best bit is definitely the location. Wow. So close to everything. We didn’t need to take public transport. Staff were friendly and hekfuk too. If you have just a couple of nights in Rome stay here. The location can’t be beaten. And don’t forget to pre-book tickets for anything you want to see. Rome is busy busy busy!

Colonna Suite del Corso
The Colonna Suite del Corso is located in a perfect place. Walking distance to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and numerous restaurants and shops. It is located on a quiet street, so not a lot of night noise. Our taxi dropped us off at the Colonna Palace Hotel, which is right around the corner from the Colonna Suite del Corso. There is no sign for the hotel, just a doorway with the name of the hotel on a doormat in the doorway. We booked the deluxe room, which is a little bigger. The room was comfortable. The shower was a bit small, but manageable. The bathtub is a nice touch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful whenever we had a question or request. I would definitely recommend this place.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Here are our highlights: - Our check-in experience was terrible. There was one person to check in the guests. We were waiting for over 30 mins to check in. - The elevator is tiny and slow - Pipes buzz every time other rooms use their washroom, might wake you up - The sink and drains smell of rotten eggs - No washroom door - In-room safe is not attached to wall/furniture, could easily be picked up and walked out with - Front desk is not on site starting around 10pm - The wifi was not working, was terrible and kept cutting out - This hotel was advertised online as 3-stars, but is actually 2-stars. False advertising - Advertised as luxury. Nothing, and I do mean nothing, is luxurious about it. The hotel talks about designer rooms and being a boutique hotel; the decoration in our room was laugh out loud tacky. With everything stated above, the room felt overpriced. We noticed better hotels available for cheaper in the neighborhood. The good - Location - Room we were in was spacious - Good breakfast
