We were sent a message by Roberta who was very friendly about meeting at the property to collect the key. The property is well located overlooking the lake and it has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, a washing machine and dishwasher that would help for a longer stay. The bathroom is small, however the main issue we had was that people were right outside our bedroom taking and listening to music until late into the night on a Saturday evening and could not sleep.

We had a lovely time at the Atlantis. First time visiting Castel Gandolfo, and we didn't know much about the area. This is a lovely property in the historic center of town, very convenient for strolling the tiny streets, exploring its shops and restaurants. Mimmo and Roberta were excellent hosts. We arrived on Easter Sunday from Rome and were very hungry. Mimmo easily managed to get us a table at a very popular restaurant which is very hard in Italy on such date. He aslo found us transportation back to Rome 3 days later. Regarding the property itself, it was a small apartment with independent entrance to the street. It contained everything we needed, 2 bedrooms, a living area with a couch and dining table, a small but functional bathroom, and even a full kitchen and washer (which we didn't use). Our room had a small balcony with lovely views of Lago Albano. We had plenty of linens and toiletries and someone from the property came every morning to make sure if we needed anything extra. The lake is a nice hike down that you start at the street right behind our apartment. Not a problem even with kids, ours loved it. We recommend this place and will stay there again if the opportunity comes.

Fabulous all around. Only slight issue was that our shower and tub were very very slow draining. This did not present overflowing problems or any adverse effects, but it was just something to be aware of in case the water level did get too high. I encourage you to stay her a few nights in a row as it is just an amazingly beautiful place with lovely hosts.

Wonderful facility, great staff!!
What a wonderful experience, I wish I stayed longer. We unfortunately arrived late, and it was dark and raining. It was a little hard to find, as you can not drive directly to the hotel, but a nice lady from a nearby business pointed us in the right direction. Upon arrival, the front door was locked, and we were a bit concerned, but then Francesco (I believe that is the correct name) showed up and led us to a wonderful apartment.... had a wonderful sleep, and woke up the next morning to the most beautiful view. We went to a local "Bar" where we had a cappuccino and croissant, compliments of the Atlantis Inn. Overall one of the best nights of our entire vacation - I WILL be returning

Perfect place to stay in Castel Gandolfo
Everything was beautiful and perfect. Service was excellent, he apartment is pretty, clean and cozy. The view is maybe even better than the pictures. The location is probably the best in town. Ah, and the internet is VERY fast.

Beautiful town and Inn. Friendly host, perfect location one minute's walk from the central square. Breakfast included, at a restaurant just along the street from the hotel. Some free parking nearby if you are lucky and good at driving round narrow streets! Very fast WiFi.

attention si vous souhaitez y rester plus d'une nuit! la photo sur le site est trompeuse! il n'y a qu'une seule chambre qui a une mini terrasse avec vue. L'accessibilité à l'hôtel est un peu compliquée et il n'y a pas de parking seulement 6 place 1 rue plus loin mais qui sont toujours prises. L'entrée est dans une petite ruelle et contrairement aux B nd B classique pas d'accueil du propriétaire ou tout au moins pas de message de sa part pour savoir à quelle heure ont arrive. Le petit déjeuner se prends dans un "bar" plus loin nous étions seul et l'accueil fût agréable mais si vous y arrivez nombreux je ne sais pas où l'on s'asseoit. La chambre était sur la rue avec aucune vue par contre elle est neuve et de très bonne facture avec une jolie décoration. quand on met un plateau de convivialité il faut le remplir de thé et café sinon ne pas en mettre! Nous avons croisé furtivement le propriétaire le lendemain matin très cool et un peu détaché de son activité . Castelgandolfo n'est pas si formidable allez plutôt sur Nemi pour plus d'authenticité et de charme

Grazie della bella recensione, vi ho scritto più di una volta per sapere il vostro orario di arrivo senza ricevere risposta . Dopo pochi minuti vi ha accolto la mia collega . La stanza da voi prenotata non è vista lago ma una stanza semplice che affaccia sul vicolo pedonale . È tutto dettagliato nella descrizione. Naturalmente è la stanza più economica . Grazie

Francesco operates a superior B & B. We stayed at his B & B for eight days so we had a good amount of time to evaluate all aspects. Of our recent stays at seven Italian hotels and B & Bs his B & B is of top two. We had the deluxe room with a great terrace overlooking the lake. Our stay was completely satisfying in all aspects. Also Francesco will go out of his way to help in anyway. Breakfast is served a short distance with wide selections. Great experience and we will return next year for an even longer stay! The Pope’s garden and lake house is a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel and not to be missed.

È un B&B, il nome inganna
La foto, il nome ed il parcheggio riservato mi hanno attratto, ma si è trattato di una camera con porta su un vicolo stretto, ribassata rispetto al piano stradale e con una finestra che non è valsa la pena aprire poiché senza alcuna vista se non quella del viottolo. Per parcheggiare in strada con i divieti è stata una vera avventura. Anche se il proprietario è stato gentile e la camera nuova e pulita non ci tornerei.

We arrived Atlantis Inn at midday because we attended a wedding at afternoon. It was a great and unforgettable experience. The staff was really nice people, they also helped with two available dryers and everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and super clean. An Incredible Stay
My wife and I stayed in the suite with a terrace overlooking Lago Albano and the Pope's summer palace. What a view and what great hospitality offered by our genial host, Francesco. After helping us obtain free parking, he showed us around the town and made arrangements with another hotel to offer us an early breakfast. The two floored suite was very comfortable and made us wish that we had planned another day's stay with Francesco. The town itself is charming and offers excellent restaurants. I highly recommend Atlantis Inn Castelgandolfo!

The owner Francesco is a very nice and excellent person, he is willing to help you with everything that you need, the room was very clean and nice. The location is in a very pretty town 30 mins from Rome. The breakfast is around the corner at Amici del Gusto was incredible and is included.
