« What an incredible experience! The cabin we rented was the Taoist, and it could not have been more ideal for us. It is located close enough to the activity of the Red River Gorge that you can quickly get to any activity or location you want, and yet it is as isolated as you could ask for. The hosts have thought of nearly every single detail, the property was immaculate, and we had the most relaxing weekend. The single item to note is that the instructions clearly state the need for a 4x4...

« Great place to stay and perfect for three adults plus our dog. As you can see from the photo, he loved it! The house is wonderfully decorated and the details included made the experience that much more enjoyable! It was very clean with all the items you needed for a weekend stay. There is a rough terrain getting to the house but we didn’t have any issues as we used 4 wheel drive as recommended. We are already planning our next stay at this house or one of the other hideaway options. Can’t wait...

« We never received our check in instructions and the directions we did get took us too the middle of nowhere, leaving us stranded for 5 hrs trying to get in contact with vrbo and the host.The cabin itself looks nice, however the water is well water which is not listed and so it all comes out like iron and smells of sewage. We couldn't shower in that, or wash our hands. The steps to the second floor are very steep and the railing has splits in it where your hand can easily get caught and pinched....
