The host was helpful and quickly answered my questions. The cabin itself is a bit difficult to access. Be prepared to haul your supplies and luggage down a rather steep gravel path from the parking area, as there is a barricade keeping vehicles from parking directly at the cabin. The path off the main highway is a dirt/gravel narrow lane. We had rain shortly before our arrival, and after several trips to town, my car was filthy. We had an issue with the hot tub and were unable to take advantage of that, unfortunately. However, the host did issue a partial refund for the inconvenience. The cabin was really clean. There were plenty of linens and towels, etc. The internet and tv worked fine and the cabin was cozy. If you plan on grilling, bring charcoal and light fluid for the grill. Although the cabin had everything we needed, it would have been nice to see board games, playing cards, or something to help occupy our down time other than television. The cabin was quite empty aside from the bare necessities. Overall, our stay was fine. Personally, I probably wouldn’t visit this area again during the off season(we visited mid February 2026). Many restaurants and shops, were closed. We were able to take advantage of some local hiking trails and scenery.
