'yes the staff were courteous. It was annoying that when you walked up 3 flights of stairs to get to Herbie's the restaurant door was locked and they wouldn't let you in that way. They insist that you take the elevator via the garage but I don't like elevators if I can avoid them '

'Great location in a beautiful setting. Every staff member was amazing- always friendly and willing to help. Very clean with lush landscaping. You can actually swim to the reef for snorkeling from the end of their pier. We ate almost all of our meals on site, because the food was so good. Staff is very helpful & provided great recommendations for tours and other activities. Transportation is super easy and inexpensive.'

'This was the perfect house to use a landing spot for a dive vacation and getting out to enjoy the culture the Roatan has to offer. Henry was amazing and super helpful. I would absolutely recommend this property for solo or group travelers.'

'The shuttle service was great the hotel rooms are nice but I will say this I stayed in the upper section of the resort room 16 and it’s a hike up the stairs to the room but view was fantastic the real part that bothered me is the toliet it wouldn’t take paper so how do ya wipe ya butt :) other then that resort is great very low key relaxed and staff are allways nice and attentive '

'My stay at the Oceanview Hotel was great, but what truly sets it apart is the owner, Edgar, and his wonderful family. They are incredibly hospitable and friendly. We struck up a conversation over lunch at the hotel restaurant—where the food was excellent—and ended up talking about sports. When Edgar learned that I play pickleball at home, he invited me to join his family that evening for a game. 'Everything was great. Was treated with a refreshing cocktail and smiles. Room was clean and bed comfortable. They arrange airport transport. The hotel is smack in the middle of the west end. Breakfast was great. Price was affordable. 2nd time staying here will be back again'
