« Our stay was absolutely beautiful, between the cleanliness of the property, great communication with the owner (we decided to stay another day!), the train coming by at 9pm & 11pm, (it didn’t bother us, were used to trains being so close at night, the kids even loved it), to the beautiful scenario. The driveway was pretty steep I had to call and make sure it was the right way, while my aunt just passed it and had to call me. But all in all this house was a great stay! Definitely recommend! »

« My husband and I loved clouds cabin. It was even more beautiful in person than it was in the pictures. The views from the deck are amazing, and it’s very quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. The waterfall hike is not on a public trail, so you even have that all to yourself. The cabin was spotlessly clean, and I had to do some schoolwork while we were there but the internet connection was great. « We had a lovely stay. Everything about the home was perfectly appointed. Our host was super easy to communicate with and the location was perfect for hiking the the Shenandoah, driving Skyline Drive, visiting Luray caverns and taking in a show at the Shakespeare Theater in Staunton. Thank you. »

« We loved our stay at this cabin. It has a great feeling of being out in nature as a cabin but with a feel of a newly renovated and quality interior. We took advantage of the screened in porch for morning coffee and evening relaxing with the family. It's a great feature of this house. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed during our stay. The grill I think may have been brand new and worked flawlessly. One reason we stayed here was the access to the river. « We absolutely loved the charm of Anne's Retreat and how welcome we felt. The amenities were great and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking equipment. We especially enjoyed the porch and rocking chairs (and cats)! We primarily chose it for proximity to the park but as there was so much to experience in the area, we would gladly stay there again. »
