Atrium House, in the old city of Rethimno

This place is a newly restored residence of almost 100 square meters near the heart of Rethymno's old town. It is just a few minutes walk from shops, cafe's, restaurants and bars, just enough to be quiet. Also few minutes walking distance from the Archeological Museum and Mikrasiaton square. Easy access on foot to any of Rethymno's beaches. Very close to car street and parking. The central bus station is also a few minutes walk away for those who wish to explore the island without renting a car.

The two leveled Venetian building was initially built almost three hundred years ago and was now restored with respect to its original architecture preserving the most important elements of the house such as the wooden ceilings and outdoor or the stone walls.

On the ground floor there is a sitting area where you can relax watching TV that has sofa-bed which can be also double bed. In the middle of the house there is an inner closed small yard under an atrium, it is a perfect dining area full of light. On the other side there is the kitchen with the fireplace and a small WC with shower. The staircase of the inner yard leads upstairs to an inner veranda with glass floor so light can pass to the ground floor.

On the first floor you can find two bedrooms with double queen bed for the bigger one and a sofa-bed which can be also double bed. In the second floor there is also the second and bigger bathroom with shower too.

The house can sleep 6 people and if needed a seventh in the kitchen, in another sofa bed (but not so comfortable).

Any more than 4 persons are extra charge of 8€ per person.

The guests can enter all areas of the house indoors or outdoors. The house offers a fully equipped kitchen, cloth washing machine, iron and iron board, hair dryer, a TV, Wifi etc.


George will let you in and show you everything. He will be available all day in case you need something or something needs repairing in the house. He is also available for guests and ready to give advice or recommend the hotspots of our town as well as beaches and places of interest. The house will be cleaned free of charge every 3-4 days if you stay 5 or more days.
