'The room was modestly clean but run down. When booking it said the room had been remodeled. Basic- stick down tile over whatever had been there. Woodwork did not line up on the walls. 10 year old TV with a big scratch across it- AND they would give you WIFI sign in for an XTRA fee. Shower would only give hot water if started from the tub faucet. Could not get hot water if just turned on with shower engaged. Initially thought had no hot water at all and when called down to the front desk at 645am...

'The staff was excellent; friendly, helpful, pleasant. Dining was excellent as well. We stayed for 2 1/2 weeks and were so thankful we did as opposed to an Airbnb. We had a full kitchen and housekeeping provided us with all the things we needed to cook and clean. Fresh towels every other day. So grateful for the staff who provided us with all the comforts of home. Front desk staff always pleasant and helpful for our needs. Breakfast staff was excellent as they provide us with amazing hot...

'We had booked this room almost a year in advance, due to the nature of our visit in the Danbury area. I had read that the property was now charging $10.00 per night for parking. This parking fee was nonexistent when we booked the room. I did mention this to the clerk, and he informed me that nothing could be done to remedy this extra fee. However, they had set up a wheel that you could spin to see if you could avoid this fee. I figured it was worth a shot, and ended up with 300 extra Bonvoy...

'Room was ok. Beds were clean but floors were not clean. Room was not swept or mopped after previous guest.'

'Shower didn't turn on at all. There are signs about how the fire alarm is sensitive all over the property. Fire alarm went off - but the alarms did not work in the room. Thought it was across the street. Took 20 mins for firetrucks to arrive. How about you fix the alarm system?!? Contactless check-in is an interesting concept but was ultimately more time consuming than face to face.'
