Dark, dingy a d dated. I requested a needed ADA room as my usual. As i was checking in someone called the fromt desk wanting to change rooms. The person helping me stopped to help them. I can't stand long so i went to sit down until she was ready. As soon as i sat down, she was "ready". I got up to complete my registration but she still has me wait at the counter to help the customer on the phone. She gives that person my reserved ADA room and then proceeds to find a room for us. She wanted to give me a room on the second floor simcw it's only 1 flight of stairs amd they don't have an elevator. I had to go sit back down but my friend explained that I can't climb stairs and we end up in a room next to the loudest ice machine known to man!. I just wanted to sit in the jacuzzi to be relaxed to watch tv in bed later. The jacuzzi was nice and hot but we were laughing at the 1989 jets that were still trying to work! Whatever, it still felt great. We go back to the room, get cleaned up, crawl into bed with our uce cream ready to watch TV. Welp, the TV didnt work either. They sent someone rather quickly. That guy had to call another guy and then said in order for it to work, he'd have to change all the cords. Um, ok, that's fine with me. But, he was standing there looking at us before saying, how do you feel about just moving to a different room?" I, physically, couldn't. He seemed reluctant to have to change the TV cords so my friend jokingly says, "we can just take a discount!"...
