When we walked onto the property, you walk onto a deck which overlooks a little valley and it’s a beautiful little valley where you can see deer at times grazing and it looks like it has a little bitty creek running at the bottom of that valley. It’s absolutely gorgeous. When you walk into the Rental, you’ll be walking into the bathroom area which has a beautiful garden tub and a huge window overlooking out into the valley area onto the back porch, the deck. The room has hardwood floors, which are gorgeous. It has a huge closet and comfy chairs to sit in to read or to do work on your computer. The room also has a microwave a refrigerator, a coffee maker and other accessories and it has patio doors from the room looking out onto the deck out onto the valley. We had one little mishap, but it was cleared up by the owner right away and our stay was so pleasurable. The scenery alone make this place a winner!

Great deck for relaxing or morning coffee or evening tea.(though tea was not provided.)real half and half in serving portions is provided - a treat. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Temperature control on a very hot day worked perfectly. I adored the view and the quiet. I would definitely stay there again. Bring your own face soap as only liquid handsoap was provided.

Concrete entrance to stairs was broken up and dangerous. While the unit looked very good , the bed was very low to ground as was the toilet . Very difficult for seniors like us . In addition this is the first VRBO where there was no television.

From the moment I booked my reservation to the checkout, I received excellent service. This quaint little spot was clean, had no odors, a shower heats up quickly. My favorite part was listening to the frogs while admiring the view. I even saw 5 young does at the bottom of the grasslands while sitting on the deck. This place was dangerous. There were no lights anywhere so I fell down the front stairs, crashing into a rock wall. The path to the rear stairs, again had no lights and you had to walk across broken concrete and rocks, while carrying your bags. The room didn't even have a TV.!! The owners stomped around on the ceiling until 2 or 3 in the morning. There was no thermostat so you were at the mercy of the owners, who like it VERY cold. Wish I could have got in contact with the owners so I could get my money back and go to Red Roof Inn!!!

Nice Place

I was in town for a conference, and didn’t spend much time outside of sleep here. The bed was comfy, there’s a small fridge and microwave and Kuerig. A huge tub to soak in (bring your bath bombs!). And a separate shower. The closet is large. There are a couple easy chairs and deck chairs. It’s very quiet and private.

Clean, affordable, just as advertised stay

Roger’s place is just as advertised. Very similar to a hotel room, as far as accommodations - the basics for a short stay. We only stayed overnight, but it was a comfortable stay, room was very clean, safe and tucked away behind the main house, with a very nice canyon view. As others have said, yes, the bathroom is a bit dated, but there IS a big bathtub, which is rather nice (we didn’t use it). If you’re looking for an affordable, safe place in a quiet neighborhood, that has the basics, it’s a great choice.

Just what we needed

The location was perfect for our traveling needs and especially for the quality of the price! Beautiful views and quiet neighborhood. The parking was a little difficult to manage/maneuver but I’m not sure if that was listed in the ad and I skimmed over it. Overall- I would 100% stay there again!

The property location and size was perfect for my needs; very clean and quiet, with a lovely view. The owner was very responsive and thorough in answering my few questions prior to my stay. However, the vrbo website is clunky and did not show the address of the house, just a vague indication of where it was located in the neighborhood.
