'It's not the taj mahal, and neither is the price. Very utilitarian for the 5 of us for the nights we stayed. If you are a stay inside family, this is not for that. It's simple, it's clean, pricing is on point. I have stayed in hotels and motels all over the country, and this is the higher end of bargain price quality. We definitely appreciated our stay here, and will be staying again in the future! '

'The house worked well for our group - two couples and three kiddos. It had everything we needed for cooking in and all the spaces to relax in and out. We rented a pontoon boat which we appreciated docking at the rental for making exploring voyageurs national park easy. We really enjoyed the trip and the cabin was great! '

'Perfect place for a place to stay to enjoy the area. Gracie our Golden loved that she was able to come along with us and enjoy the outdoors. Easy access to different places to eat and many places to explore.'

'The bathroom was the biggest problem with mold and moldy black baseboards coming apart at the base molding. (No pun intended.) The hot water heater was literally next to the bed, covered in carpeting with loose screws on top. The location was misrepresented and not in the park or even in a wooded area, but on an atrial street in a neighborhood.'

'My family of 4 had a great time here. The lake views and sunsets were amazing, the fishing was great (two largemouth bass over 3 lbs!), we saw bald eagles, loons, mink, Canadian geese, ducks and deer, and the location was perfect: close to town but very private. We never even saw a neighbor. The cabin itself was comfortable and there were so many little extras that made the stay even more enjoyable and showed how much the owners care. 'Had a grand week on Lake Kabetogama. Cabin and bunk cabin fit our group well. Cabins were modern and very clean. Enjoyed having air conditioning when it got humid. Lots to see and do in the area. Saw deer every day. And caught enough fish for a fish fry. '

'This is a cozy cabin, rustic for sure, but amazing deck over the water and peace and quiet all around. Great owner to deal with. Kids had a great time as well.'
