'The plumping needs fixing. The shower squeals and has very little pressure, the hot tap in kitchen needs a new washer. The pillow situation is strange, they are two in one and super thick, and no spares for us side sleepers! The single bed is completely bowed in the middle. The kitchen was great but I still wouldn’t stay again. '

'I was greeted at reception by two very friendly jack russells, a short walk down the veranda bought us to our basic room. 5 quite steep steps down to where we parked our car, which is under cover and outside our room.
There is a pub that serves food just minutes walk up the road or a RSL across the road.
Free toiletries, a fridge, a microwave, kettle and crockery were all provided along with towels. A friendly cat is also in residence along with a cacophony of wild birds.

'The Toowoomba Motel is okay for an overnight stay. It's in a quiet location and close to cafes and a petrol station. I arrived to find the bins in the room full. I also found the mattress and pillows to be too firm for me, but the linen was good. The tv stations were all pixelated. The staff were friendly and check in and out hassle-free.'

'The manager was extremely helpful with accommodating us after we were forced to abandon our booking at another fleabag establishment that would've been rated as disgusting in a 3rd world country. We were booked and had the key inside 20 minutes of making last minute phone calls to find another room, not an easy task during school holidays. 'Nice motel on a perfect location, not far from the city centre but still close to the main roads. Stayed here almost a week, no complains at all. Friendly and service minded staff.
Breakfast is served in the restaurant located next door to the reception. Like in many Australian motels the breakfast is not included in the roomfair, would make things a lot easier to do it the American way.
Recommendable hotel, would stay here certainly again!'

'Talk about value for money:
The room was impeccably clean. (Shout out to the cleaning staff)
The bedding (in some regards, the most important article) was crisp and clean and of pretty damn good quality.
The minibar of cleansing products was abundant! (Travellers: stop raiding the free stuff so we can continue to have them)
Now, I know the boarding facilities offers but a small increase to the overall income but you seemed to go way beyond to make it equally important as the food and pokies....
