'Yvonne and Peter couldn't be more accommodating! Yvonne met us to discuss the cottage. She had nice touches to make everything cozy. It was incredibly clean! We felt at home immediately! It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. ( Our choice, they are very respectful of privacy) I absolutely recommend their place 100%!!'

'Een cottage die is ingericht op eigen wijze. De cottage heeft alle gemakken om een verblijf aangenaam te maken. Er is veel rust in de omgeving, waardoor je je heerlijk kunt ontspannen. Denise is een geweldige gastvrouw, die ons regelmatig verraste met eigen gebakken brood. Als er al problemen zijn dan worden die snel en accuraat opgelost.'

'I have to preface this with an *. I had booked the gardener's cottage but there was some sort of booking mishap and the cottage was double booked. To their credit they gave me a room in the main house which was very nice. It was technically an up-grade and there was no charge. I would have like the solitude of the cottage, but I am not upset as I had a lovely time. You should most definitely get dinner. The food was exceptional. I enjoyed interacting with the other guests and the host over...
