'Rather non-descript hotel, basic bed in basic hotel. Across the street from ferry terminal and water is beyond that. Not the most charming but functional.'

'Under new ownership has the kitchen open to guests at all hours. NIce tho some guests cook and dont wash their dishes and no one on site to supervise it. I put way dishes from the staff baking muffins early in the day and wiped counters and tied up a full to the brim garbage can. I like the access to kitchen and common area but not if area is not monitored. Room was clean as usual and comfortable and well decorated. NO hot water for morning shower in upstairs room tho.'

'Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. 'Staff was wonderful. Location was great. The on site parking made the stay easy. Smores in the back by the fire pit was an added treat.'

'This hotel is one of the best I have seen in a long time. The furniture is modern and comfortable, the room was with oceanview. The light morning snack (croissant and croissant au chocolat) was good to get the day started. The whole experience left a very warm feeling.'

'The breakfast was excellent. Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff could not have been more helpful. The bed was the most comfortable of our vacation which included four hotels. Highly recommend staying there.'
