'My wife & I have known Alex & Siobhan for at least 15 years--we stayed in rooms at their former Claddagh Motel as well as suites, but we've stayed mostly at the Primrose B with our two kids & now twice at the Loft (just my wife & me). 'The 2nd story apartment in Camden, ME was a spectacular choice for a long weekend with the girls. It's an easy walk (less than 5 minutes) to coffee, a deli, shops, and the harbor. The finishes may be a bit rustic for some, but we were plenty happy!'

'The photos don't even begin to do justice to this house! Everything about our stay was excellent! Great location, great vibe, great stay! We even used the kayaks and grill, both of which were in perfect working order......a real rarity at a rental property. I can't speak to the quality of the TV because we never even turned it on in the 5 days that we were in Owls Head. I have already started recommending this place to everyone who will listen to me!'

'We’ve stayed here multiple times and keep coming back. The place is very spacious, very well equipped, and tastefully decorated. The location provides ready access to the Farnsworth Museum, local galleries and several great restaurants. We came this year for the Lobster Festival which is a 5 minute walk from the unit. It’s the first time we came during a very hot stretch. The owners were kind enough to provide a portable cooling unit that kept the apartment comfortable. We hardly recommend!'

'The 2-bedroom property was spacious and very clean with a well-appointed kitchen and comfortable living area, located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Rockland. We had parking behind our building, but didn’t need our car unless we wanted to venture out of town. We went during the week of the Maine Lobster Festival and had easy access, within walking distance, to everything Rockland had to offer: the lobster festival at Harbor Park, the ferry to Vinalhaven and North Haven, art galleries,...

'Walked the house initially and it smelled like a wet basement, we opened all the windows and had the humidifier going but it didn’t help. The Wi-Fi didn’t work because the owners hadn’t paid the bill. That got fixed the next day. Sheets were dirty on the master bedroom. Twice we had to call Maine water to fix the water. We called to get the place cleaned and they never sent any one and there was no cable. In the bathroom there was black mold in the shower. It was awful.'

"Honestly, we really wanted to give a 5 star review, just because Marc was such a great host. But all in all our experience was a bit disappointing - considering what we paid. We had booked a cottage but it was actually a room in a cottage with several other rooms in it. The room itself did not offer the right value for money. It was clean and the bed was great, but everything else felt and looked tired and worn. The curtains looked like they hadn't been replaced since the 90s. There was no microwave or fridge in the room. There was a coffee maker but no condiments to go with it. Camden is a charming place to stay and the High Tide Inn is right on the ocean shore, which probably explains the rates. But if Marc wants to make this place work, he needs to do some work on the place. "
